Sometimes people talk about Bots or Zombie Machine but … what are those ? What are their utilities ? Read & Learn :

“Bot” is the diminutive for robot but also the name of the programs which execute repetitive tasks. “Bots” used in a hostile way, allows the pirates to control hundreds of PC “zombie” so easily as they would check(control) a single computer. A “bot” network is a group of PC controlled by the same pirate. The pirated networks can be used to send spam, record and store illegal files, as pornographic films, or use computers to participate in the attack of the other computers. The network pirates can be also used to flood with messages a web site in a way that he cannot answer any more correctly the requests of his real users (an attack called also denials of service). To protect itself from it, it is necessary to be equipped with an updated antivirus, or with a firewall.
