If you are a person who loves clicking all of those “sign up” links on your favorite websites, you must have created numerous accounts you don’t want to forget.

Do you always create accounts in different websites? Do you often forget your passwords? If you have, this article may be of help to you.

I am also a sign-up-clicker. Well, most websites require users to be members accessing some information. And online games can be addictive. I had this problem of forgeting my account passwords. Had it not been for my e-mail account, all of them will fade into oblivion. Now I just want to share possible remedies of this irritating problem:

  1. List your passwords down. I’ve tried this. I’ve listed my passwords on a sheet of paper. But the paper’s always lost- misplaced. And there’s also a danger in doing this: If another person will see the paper, he/she may take away your precious internet and gaming life.
  2. Use a single password for every account. This is convenient. Or I thought so. If someone discovered your secret password, he/she’ll gobble up all of your accounts. In addition, every website’s password requirement varies. And thus you’ll have no choice but to add a bit of numbers or to cut off some of your regular password. But a bit of difference is disastrous. But nonetheless, if it is possible, I use a single password for all.
  3. Use a password that you will always remember but that which other people will not suspect you of using. For example, a phrase like “I’m sitting right now.” You may also borrow from another language. Say, “sic transit gloria mundi.” Something that you’ll remember.

For password strength:

  1. Use different cases. You may have your name as your password, but have case patterns: LUmuEL LOcoMIenZO.
  2. Use numbers and special characters. You may add your birthdate on your password. Unless you forget the day you were born.
