I’ve already posted Arcticles on how to delete any kind of virus/spyware/malware etc… but here, i’ll explain to you (almost) exactly how do they ( the virus ) work ! Okay, let’s start :

1. My anti-virus says : WARNING : A virus : “type of virus” has been detected !
2. If you want to learn how to kill a Virus yourself take a look at this ( and do not press : “delete virus” )
3. Look up where the virus is located, let’s say C:/windows/doc/virus.exe
4. Go at this exact location ( the folders maybe can only be open by administrators, so yeah be an admin, and make you sure you can “see al types of folder”, if not go to Control Panel ->( Vista = Classix View, Xp = nothing ) -> Folder Option -> check :” Show hidden files and … ” )
5. Now press Ctrl + Atl + Del, go on Processes and you might see virus.exe or something else.exe ( if it’s something else myabe your anti-virus said what was its name, if not just delete the directory or delete the folder by using your anti-virus )
6. Now go on Start -> Run -> cmd -> type : tasklist /m then find your “virus.exe” or “something else.exe” check its .dll files
7. A virus will be disable by delete all ( or almost all ) its .dll files ! After that, if you got a special program you’ll be able to annalyse how’s the virus created and everything without any risk !

Although its more recommanded you just delete the virus location … this article was just an other “longer” way to kill a virus and see how it works.
