How to Avoid the Captcha Problem in Triond Articles

This guide will help you comment without having any problems at all!

I have heard many people complaining about the captcha problem (those numbers you have to input before you post a comment). I would suggest that Triond would remove those captchas in case the viewer wants to use his Triond credentials. Those captchas prevent spammers from posting (you know bots etc). If you use your triond credential then you are not a bot, so there is no need to write those captchas in order to comment.

So… what can we do in order not to have any problems at all? I have 2 solutions for you!

  1. Open only one article at a time or open one article per site at a time. If you open one picable picture, one authspot article and one writerhood article you will not have any problems at all commenting. What happens when you open two authspot articles? The captchas get mixed because you are on the same site (same script). So if you try to input the captcha you see on that page, you will get the error message. The captcha changed because you jave opened the same page with a different article. So if you see that two articles are written in the same site, don’t open the articles simultaneously!
  2. If you decide to open multiple articles at a time, just refresh the page before commenting. This will refresh the captcha and it will work.

Some people are complaining about because they can’t differ 1 from l . Well that’s easy! 1 has that line that makes an angle with l and a large base line! If you see them in the same captcha you will surely recognise them! If you can’t recognise them don’t feel sad! Check out how many people have the same problem with you here:
Do you have a crystal clear vision?

I think that Triond’s captchas are easy to be recognised! Check out Yahoo Buzz to see the most difficult captchas ever! You can’t recognise each letter because they are attached to each other! I usually get 2-3 errors before I can input it correctly!

I hope this helped you with Triond captcha problem!

I’ve never really got this problem but a lot of people have been complaining about this on the forums. Thanks for clearing this up!

I’ve had the problem and I’ve never had more than one page open at a time, so I doubt that has anything to do with it. On the other hand, the problem does seem to be at least partly with telling the difference between “1″ and “l.” Maybe it’s easy for you, but not everyone has good eyesight. The best solution, if that’s a problem is to use your browser option to enlarge the size of the print.

It would be nice if Triond would eliminate the Captcha for those who sign on as members. It would take some extra programming, but it could be done.

Smythe which browser do you use?

Great advice! I completely agree with you that we shouldn’t have to enter the code if we’re using our credentials. I think most people who are members usually do so that would really help clear up alot of this. Triond, are you reading this????lol

Sotiris, I use two browsers (for the Mac), Omniweb and Firefox. The problem came up with both of them. But since I’ve been very careful to make sure I’m not mixing up “1″ and “l” it hasn’t been happening. (fingers crossed)

I use mostly Firefox and I faced this problem when I had multiple articles opened! I hope that Triond will remove those captchas for registered members hehe!

I think it will help. I have no problem between the l and 1 but sometimes I have to put the comment in several times before it takes. I do get errors on page, on some sites and can not go there. That prevents me from reading some friends articles.

Good stuff. I use Safari on my Mac and quite often the “I like it” button cannot be pressed. Then I have to switch over to Firefox, which is much slower. Captcha can be a nuisance sometimes. On some sites, the captcha inventors must be real paranoid pervs, torturing people with twisted letters.

That explains why I have problems with authspot sometimes, thank you! You are right, Triond’s are easy to read, some sites it takes me two or three attempts.

great advise.. but I am able to comment on 10 articles open at one time, all authspot.. thumbed this up for you..
