With Marissa Mayer, Google vice president of beauty, left Google as the new Yahoo CEO, finally ending her 13-year career in Google. As one of the first 20 employees at Google and Google’s first female engineer, Mayer has been responsible for the look and feel of the Google search, image search, Gmail, Google News product. Prior to her leaving, Mayer is responsible for Google’s local products and services.
