There are many websites out there and anything can be found on the Internet for free even if the shops will try to charge you thousands for software there is a good chance you will find a freeware equally as good as others… Of course it would be illegal to download software that you don’t have the license to use..

Forums

As far as I know hosting a file (which means putting it on your website) is illegal and putting up links (directing you to other sites) is not.  If you make your search on google adding ‘forum’ on the end of the search, you have a almost perfect chance for finding a forum that will have a link to the file you need.

There are thousands of freeware website forums out there and they provide you with tons of software (that are free to use) that can do single jobs unlike massive software packages. If your a cheapskate this is the option for you.

In most cases these links will be to sites like mega-upload and rapid-share in .rar or .zip format.

Also there are some sites you might need to register to before seeing the links. These sites will almost definitely have the file on there you want and 99% of the time the files are virus free as the post would be deleted if it was packed with a virus.

Index Search

This has become well known now. Simply type in Intitle:”index.of” (file format you want here e.g. mp3) Whatever your looking for here e.g. Linkin Park.

This search will go through the database on a site and you should just easily download the file and use it without any problem of course you will need to own the song yourself to listen to it. And you could find it illegal to be downloading without permission.

Of course not everything can be found:

Some physical things don’t come for free but can be made free in a sense. On the Internet there are many sites that pay you for everything you do… like www.triond.com which you can almost earn a living off if your good enough easily making a quick money to buy ’stuff’ online using Paypal. Without needing to tell you.. make sure you don’t get scammed by fake websites.
