If you didn’t know already there are many different ways to us google to make it easier to search. Here are some of the more known ones that will help you.

Google searches by using all the words that were typed in. Try using Either/Or Doing this it will search pages for one term or the other (or both).

• Quotes: if you are trying to find a quote then all you need to do is “type the quote in here” put Quotation marks around the words.
• Not: if you don’t want a term or phrase, use the “-” symbol. (-red little bike) will return pages that contain “little” and “bike” but that don’t contain “red”
• Similar Terms: Use the “~” symbol to return similar terms. such as ~stupid little bike – stupid. Results would be dumb little bike, Dumb little bike.
• Lyrics: If you are trying to find lyrics to a song that you can’t remember to well. Then you put (what a beautiful* Lyrics).
• Definitions: If you need help to find a definitions and don’t want to take time to look in a dictionary then you put. Define: Success.
• Calculater: Thats right google can do you math for you! all you have to do is type it in i.e. 100+4567*10-200= or to find the square root, sqrt(127).
• Numrange: If you trying to find something through the years try this. best books 2002..2007 this will find books between these years. note: two periods.
• Movies: To find a movie at its showings just tip in the name with your area code (84601) or city and state.
• Unit Converter: To convert something just type in i.e. 12 yards to meters.
