Yahoo is one of the most popular search engine in the world wide web. Most people with access to the internet either uses Yahoo or Google search engine.
Yahoo has hidden function accessible from the main search box. These functions can help you to make your searches more successful and less time searching! And can help you find the specific things you are looking.
Word Definitions

Type in define: before the word you want to search, a fast and useful command that displays many definitions from several dictionary websites.
Specific File Type you’re looking for

Type in filetype: this will enable yahoo to search specific file types like htm, html, pdf, swf etc. It removes pages that we didn’t want to see.
Here is an example if you were looking for a PDF version of the PSP manual you could use the following search, which would produce more accurate results.
Search a Single Website

Type in site: then the specific website you are looking this will enable yahoo to search only the contents of the specific site you typed.
For example, I typed in Myspace as showed on the image yahoo will then display alphabetical users and profiles of myspace.com this command is very useful and can safe you a lot of time.
Removing Pages you don’t like

Most of the time when you search something on yahoo there are so many irrelevant pages included its annoying cause it takes time to check each sites and still doesn’t get what you are looking.
Here is the best way to eliminate this issue for example you are looking for Jumper review most of the time if you type this on the search box it will display a movie clip from Youtube so add in movie it will now eliminate relevant to the movie by adding this command.
There are more commands in yahoo that yet I don’t know I hope this will help you search more faster you can also use this commands on Google.com
