Search Engines

Avoid getting banned from Search Engines.

We all know now what rules to follow to reach the top of Google’s rankings. But do you know that there are rules that need to be followed, also to avoid reaching the bottom of the rankings. There are some mistakes that you need to avoid doing if you intend to stay away from Google’s Black List.

1.    Hidden Text

For better Site optimization, a lot of SEO experts use Hidden Text. Hidden Text is text that has a white colored font and is written on a white background, which means that it cannot be seen. In the hidden text, SEO experts use the keywords they want to concentrate on repeatedly and this helps in getting more hits for their targeted keywords.

2. Cloaking

A webmaster knows who has just entered our site. If there is a mechanism that allows the webmaster to show a different site to the Google spider and a different one to the general public, then such a website will be banned.

3. Double Content

Search Engines love content. The more content a website generates, the more a search engine will crawl it. but if the content generated is copied from somewhere, the search engines might just ban your site.

4. Multi Domains

Some SEO experts will buy a whole bunch of domian names and will direct all the traffic from that site to another one. These days, such sites are being altogether banned by Google.

5. CrossLinks

If Google finds out that you have created a lot of cross links, just for the sake of PageRank, it punishes the site. The best way to avoid this is to spread the website a bit thin.

6. Overdose of Keywords

If you have a less number of keywords, then Google might not notice your site, but if you have a higher than normal number of keywords, then too Google will ban you.

7. Farming Links

There are sites that have nothing but links from their site to hundreds of other sites. Linking to such a site, also called as a Link Farm is like no linking at all.

There are three basic ways in which Google bans your site

 1. Red Flag – When Google flags your site and gives it a PR 0.

 2. Manually – Google’s team searches on the internet and finds objectionable content.

3. Informing – Search engines that encourage people to submit suspicious sites.

So, take care and save your sites from getting banned by Google.
