Search Engines

We all know that Search engine optimization or (SEO) is the art of improving the Visibility of any Website or web page in a search engine’s search results. Once quite a simple thing to do it is now quite a difficult procedure to decide just how to optimize your site or page to maximize its money earning potential.

Search Engine Optimization a bit of history

As an Internet marketing strategy search Engine Optimization used to be quite simple, really all you had to do was to include phrases like how to earn money online, how do i find, make money etc but because of abuse by some webmasters  (in-fact a lot of them) this changed when two  graduate students at Stanford University in 1997, Larry Page and Sergey Brin, developed “Backrub,” the fore runner of Google search they would in 1998 found Google. It wasn’t long before Google attracted a loyal following among the growing number of Internet users and gone were the days when unscrupulous webmasters could stuff there web pages or websites with unrelated pages stuffed with unrelated keywords and information like affiliate program, free online business and affiliate program marketing etc.

The New Search Engine Optimization method
With these changes users now had a more reliable way to search for more relevant information and the web would carry on its business for a while until webmasters would once again find a way around the new Google search engine causing Google and most other search engines in 2004 to start using an even wider range of undisclosed factors to reduce the impact of the Webmasters ability to manipulate links and keywords on there pages, keyword stuffing was once again brought under control and in-fact Google now says it uses over 200 different signals in order to rank all there sites as to there reliability.

Now we know this just how do you Optimize and how to write to earn money.

First of all it is important to realize as mentioned above not to stuff your article with unrelated keywords or phrases  to your article. If you are going to write about affiliate program marketing or how to make money don’t stuff with things like free cash, free money, Google Adsense etc. If you are going to write about lets say, Internet Marketing by all means use this as the title but weave a story around it, put a bit of history to it include only related keywords and what ever you do, do not use phrases like, “get rich today” or “free money”, the search engine nine times out of ten will just ignore your page. Bottom line write about something you know about or love to write about and stick to the basics, after all the system is not called Internet Explorer for nothing, it is a system designed to explore for related information and if you as a user uses a search engine to glean information and do not get it from that search engine, you will not use that search engine again and that search engine will fall.

How to choose related keywords for your article.

This was always a mystery to me and I always found it hard, I also could not understand why my pages were not getting picked up by search engines until I found out that yes I was guilty of stuffing and had to change my way of writing. This article for instance is stuffed with keywords and phrases I have used for examples sake so I do not give it much chance of being pick up, I will let you know how it gets on in the future. I do use though and it is one of the best free keyword search tools I have found for my articles a site called “Free Keyword Research Tool” I will leave a link for you at the bottom of the article. This Keyword Research Tool gives me the ability to pick just the related phrases and keywords I require, it also shows me how much competition and how many searches the phrase or keyword has generated.

In ending thanks for reading this article and happy writing. If you want the link for this “Free Keyword Research Tool” just click the link below.
