Have you ever wanted your own website on the internet but haven’t known how? Do you want to know? This how to guide explains how to make your very own website with little to no fuss at all.
There are many websites out there that will let you make your own website. Some of these are harder to use than others. The one that i will be focusing on during this how to is www.webs.com. This website has been around for quite a while and has loads of users worldwide. Webs.com allows you to only let people you want to access your site access it. So if you only wanted a website for you and your friends you are able to make it.
The first thing you will need to do is get onto the webs.com website. Do this by doing a google search of webs.com or typing www.webs.com into your broswer or click on one of the links. Once you are on the website you should see a box which allows you to pick your site address and the password to edit your website. Your chosen website address may not work because it may already be taken. once you have done this you will be rediected to another page.
Fill in the details for your website select the template you want to use read the terms and conditions, click ok and proceed to the next section. If you decide that you don’t like your chosen template you can always change it later.
Now that you are in the editing stage you are able to start adding text, pictures, videos and other stuff to your website. Every now and then save and publish it so you can view it as someone who is not editing it.
