Increasing traffic and visitors to your website is a difficult task but here just a few tips that will help you on your way.

We can all have a great looking website but if you don’t get any visitors there is little point hosting your site. Once you have set your site up the first task is to introduce your website to the world . This is done by submitting your web pages to all the major search engines otherwise know as search engine submission. The largest and most popular search engine is Goggle and this is where 70% of searches take place to get listed on goggle is a must. You can also use good for website optimisation to ensure your  web pages are figured with the best content utilising  the goggleOptimiser tool.

Going back to submitting your sites to the search engines here is a helping hand – Try SearchSubmit. This is an entirely FREE services that will submit your site to Goggle , Whatuseek, Wisenut and Exactseek Your submission will only take 2 minutes to send and the process is fully automated . There are any other search engines and you can find these by typing in search engine submission into goggle or Bing.

The second step to link your site with other similar sites so if your site is about mushrooms you need to link to site related to fruit and vegetables. These links are called reciprocal links whereby you place a small amount of HTML code on your front page that links you with the fruit and vegetable site and the owner of that site will do the same. Again search engines look for these links and this help you up the goggle rankings.

Consider placing your site on traffic exchanges. This method is rather dated but it can get your site seen and will generate revenue for your site if you are using goggle absence. These traffic exchange sites show your sites through a site rota-tor system and are either generated by an auto-surf system where your site is shown for a period of time usually 20 seconds or through manual surf system where you must view site for a approximately 15 seconds and then click a button to view the next . Tedious work but your site will be at least viewed by fellow surfers. One such site is Hitzjunction that offer manual and auto-surf and is entirely free to join
