Getting traffic to our sites, blogs and our articles on Triond is never an easy task. I created this series of articles on how to get traffic to your sites and get traffic for your articles.

In this article, I am going to share with you the ways to get massive traffic whether to our site, our blog or our Triond articles. The methods I am going to share here can be applied to get traffic whether you want to get it for your site, your blog or your Triond articles.
As we all know, traffic or normally known as site visitors is the life blood of a successful site. The hardest part to do is not when we write and get our articles published, is not when we setup our blog or a website, definitely not the design part but it is the part to get tons of traffic and visitors to our sites.
It is easy to get around 10 to 100 visitors per day to our sites but it is hard to reach beyond that. If we can get 200 to 1000 visitors to our sites and articles per day, we can make quite a huge amount of money from our blog, our site or our Triond articles. So, are you ready to learn about it?
I have been trying hard and working hard on my blog for around 3 years and in these 3 years, I learn a lot about getting traffic to my blog. 3 years of trial and error to get traffic to my blog helped me to learn and found some of the greatest ways to get the visitors coming to my blog.
Part 1: We find our visitors, not visitors find us:
The common saying “You reap what you sow” is always true. If you want to get visitors to your site, you need to find them. At the beginning, you need to work very hard to find them and get them to your site.
Some of the methods below can be used to get a little traffic coming:
i) Inform your friends about your site or your articles using social sites.
ii) Join forums and setup your forum signature using the links to your site or the links to your articles.
iii) Join online communities such as Google Groups, Yahoo! Answers, and so on and so forth.
iv) Be active in famous and high traffic blogs by leaving comments with your links attached.
iv) Join and use pinging services.
From the four methods above, you need to work hard and consistent. This is the work-hard way to get traffic. I am going to share some other ways to get traffic without working so hard for it. Keep on reading and you will be amazed.
Part 2: You need traffic, then exchange for it:
This is a method that I being used in ancient time and the method is known as Barter System. As we all know, Barter System is the way to exchange goods for other goods. It is still applicable to the modern world? Sure, it is working. You can see a lot of people are exchanging links with each other. This is a very effective ways to get more exposure for your site or articles.
By exchanging links, you can place your links on other’s sites and you are actually getting a part of their traffic. Of course, in exchange, you are placing their links on your blog and so they get a part of your traffic too. It is called mutual benefits. Both of the parties win.
So, when you have exchanged your links with hundreds or maybe thousands of sites, you can actually get quite a lot of visitors to your sites or articles.
Let us do some mathematics:
Link exchange with 1 site might get you: 2 visitors per day
If you have exchanged with 100 sites, you will get: 200 visitors per day.
That is 6000 visitors per month.
Remember that this is just a simple calculation, if you manage to exchange links with high traffic sites, you can get even more. One way to exchange links with high traffic sites is explained in part 1 which is by leaving comments with your links attached.
The Part 3 and 4 of “How to Get Traffic to Your Sites and Articles on Triond” will be continued in another article because this article is too lengthy. Stay tuned.

Where do you suggest putting links on a link exchange? Because unless they are put in the right place on a site, I can’t see them giving you much traffic from other sites. People aren’t necessarily looking for affiliate site pages to click through on.

Who has time to blog? Good ideas here, but I barely have time to write and keep up with my friend list.

i like your piece but i too am unaware on where you can do this link exchange? It seems like a great way to traffic but will take up a lot of time and effort in finding people to exchange with.
good advice though, it reiterates the fact we need to work hard and there arn’t really any fast tracks to success…….more the pity!!
