Here are some free search engine sites to submit your article to for more traffic.
As a writer, you want your article to get views. Having comments from our friends are nice, but they are not enough to get you thousands of views. Writing is a job, a job that we love to do, but still is a hard work.
After your article is published, you are not done yet! You have to promote it, advertise it, bookmark it, and make it available on search engines.
Here is how:
• Pick out an article you want to submit
• Assign an email account for this purpose. You will receive many emails from these sites asking you to confirm your submission
• Check your email to confirm, without this step, your submission is useless
Search Engine Optimize
This site offers a free submission to about 40 search engines. Type in your article address, scroll down to fill in your email address, and continue to the next page to type in the security code.
Spend some times on this site to get familiar with it. There are many other wonderful features such as: keywords suggestions, link popularity check, and page rank checker.
Add Your URL to Google
Google is one of the biggest search engines out there, and submit your URL directly to it will yield more traffic to your article! All you have to do is copy and paste your article link to the box provided on that page, leave a comment, type in the security code, click “add”, and you are done.
Free Web Submission
This site offers 50 search engines and directories. You must first read their term and accept it before you can submit. Type in your URL, provide your email address and submit your site.
Check your email account to confirm your submission.
Yahoo Site Explorer
Yahoo is another big search engine, and submits your site to it only takes a minute. However, it will take about two weeks for the search engine to crawl your site! Many other services such as yahoo bookmark and Buzz can get your site instant notice.
MSN Search Engine
Submit your URL to window live search is quick and easy. Type your article address into the provided box, fill out the code, and submit!
Now, you have submitted your article to all of these search sites, give it times to crawl, and then check on it to see if your article is listed. The easiest way is using the Link Popular Check Tool from the Search Engine Optimize site.

Do we really have to submit our articles to these sites. If you would try to search for this article in Yahoo, Google and Live Search, you will already find it there, so why submit it again?
