A look at how to use Google street view on Google maps.

The Search for Google maps street view is easy! Enter Google maps into search bar.

You will be given the street view option or type it into search bar and it will come up on the left hand side.

For anyone that has not used Google maps street view it will blow your mind away.

When you open up the main Google map page, you are presented with a search maps bar.

Enter in the address if you know it, or the Country if you are just go touring.

The page will swap to a map of your choice and you can either make it nearer (bigger) or farther away (smaller)

Peg man will help you; he lives on the size slider on the left hand side. Click on him and drag him where you want to go, he will turn yellow if the street viewer is available, it should be on all the roads outlined in blue.

Or you can add more details of the start journey and the end destination and peg man will get you there.

Thumbnails appear as you hover by, zoom in by double clicking on the map or use the 360-degree tool.  Use the camera icon to view where you are going as you go. Walk down the roads your new friends have walked down, its great fun.

Visit historical landmarks and places that are famous! That you would other wise only be able to see in a flat dimension, now you can see it all the way round!

Go to Athens or Australia and see the Sydney opera house. Go and see where Aunt Nellie is going to be moving to.

    hahaha.. You don’t need an address to go site seeing! its a bit like window shopping, shopping with out spending any money!

    It is a great facility. I have seen my own house and even the garden in relative detail, then I can swing over to Japan and see my son’s house. It’s amazing. A good post.

    Yes, google map is very helpful and those directions of streets and places is very handy at times.
