A leaked said that the company will use the Apple Developers Conference next week to announce the Google Maps application only as a build-in option in their mobile platform.
Google mapping Executive Brian McClendon Apple did not comment on the plan and just say that Google only wants to use their maps on any platform.
He also refused to name the cities that worked on the project’s 3D maps, but a demonstration to show three-dimensional map of the City of San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris, and Berlin.
McClendon also said that Google has used its own aircraft and operated by a contractor for their exclusive flight.
“We’re trying to make the imagination as if you fly over a city on a private helicopter,” said Product Manager Google Earth Peter Birch. 3D maps are expected to be launched later this year and the offline version of Android is likely to be present in the next few weeks.
As alluded to privacy concerns, McClendon said that the issue of privacy as well as aerial imagery experienced by all. Google in the last year operating the camera car to take photos for the service roads map. Cars has led to privacy concerns in some countries.
If Apple ejecting Google Maps from the iPhone and the iPad them, this will be the latest feud between two former allies. Their relationship began to deteriorate since Google released the Android in 2008 to challenge the iPhone.
