We use google search engine everyday for searching web pages. I mean that is what it was made for. We simply typed in the key words and it found the results for us. But did you know that it is possible to use google apart from for searching only!! Here is a list of 5 features that you may not know about!!
1. Weather:
Google can be used to find weather for US and many worldwide cities. To check the weather just simply type “weather”, followed by the city name and then country or city name and state.
Example: weather San Francisco, CA
2. Time:
To see time in many countries around the world just type “time” and the name of the city.

3. Calculator:
Google can be used as a scientific calculator. Just type in the equation and it will calculate.
Example: (5+7) – (2*4) + (2nd root of 4 % 100) + (3^3)

4. Public Data:
You can find trends of population and unemployment rate from google of US and other countries (though the US results are more accurate). To find the trend in google, type “population” or “unemployment rate” followed by a state or a country.
Example: population China
5. Dictionary Definitions:
You can find definition of word or phrase from google. To find the definition simply type “define” and then the word or phrase. You can also find a list of definition from different sources in web. For that type “define:” followed by word or phrase.
