Cloud computing is the big thing of the moment. Everyone is looking forward to move their data to the cloud. What will happen after the cloud?
Cloud computing already exists for some time but only now people and realizing it’s true power thanks to the improvement in both computer and internet speed. Basically cloud computing means storing all your data and applications in a place inside the internet that you can access from everywhere. This model with the est encryption algorithm in the market makes clouding computing 100% secure and reliable.
This article is about what will happen after cloud computing. In my opinion your computer will become nothing more than a terminal. It will have absolutely no information inside it, it will have no applications inside it, it will just be a screen with a CPU and some RAM for faster internet access.
The entire world has free internet because some companies such as Google, Microsoft and Yahoo profit a lot from having more users using the search services and the email services. Advertisements alone are more than enough to pay for the free 1 GB/s internet wireless!
All the applications online can interact with any website and with any other application. If you have a document stored in server X you can get data to it from the document in the site Y and so on. The same will happen with applications. You are no longer required to install the same application in all the servers you rent. One server will get all the applications it needs from any other site, just like you access your email from any computer with internet.
Finally what you will feel the most will be the amount of information flying out there. With more than 5 Billion internet users, there has never been so much information and a reason to work with better information systems such as email, search engines and publishing tools, making it even better than it was just 3 years ago. Now for a single search you do not get millions of results, you get trillions of results!
When will this future come? All the future is in our hands. We are the ones that have the power to make it happen when we want it to happen.

Good article. Well researched. I agree that our computers will simply become terminals to access information. How sad. All the software I have bought will have to go into “pre-historic information
