Many websites offer to make you a billionaire. Is money making as easy as they make it sound?
Are you also fascinated by the “Make Millions Online” ads? Everyone is! But is making money as easy as these ads make it sound? No, not at all. There is no shortcut to success. Making money online requires a lot of efforts and time. And even after giving your 100%, you can never be sure of getting success. Even if you succeed, you will not get millions of dollars overnight.
There are many websites that sell the “dream” of making you millionaire. But the dreams sold there always remain dreams. Let’s take a deep look at what they actually have to offer. GoogleCashCow is one such website that offers a “training package” According to the site, “It is a CD with content that will take you step by step through the process of earning a steady income using Google AdSense” They offer a complete ready made website for free with this training package. Here is the example they are giving, “How much could you make if you only managed to receive 20 clicks per day? Well, that all depends on how much you got paid for each click…but let’s just say that you received only Rs..40/- for each click. You would make Rs. 800/- per day (or Rs. 24,000/- per month)! Imagine what your income figure would be if the number of clicks and the amount paid per click would be higher!”
Here, they suppose that from the word go, you will get “only” 20 clicks per day. But, where will these clicks come from? New websites have to struggle for traffic and then 20 visits per day is what new sites manage to get. Everyone won’t click on ads. And getting $1 from each click? That is believable. But 20 clicks per day from a brand new site is very high expectation. If you know a bit about adsense you will have idea that most successful of the sites have click through rate of 2-5%. This means that for 20 clicks per day, you will need at least 400-1000 visits per day! And a brand new site with 100 pages without useful content will never get this number of hits. What they are doing? They are selling you dream of getting rich. And people are buying these 0$ dreams for 20-50$!
This is not the only website that offers such courses. Once I saw a website which was created by a “billionaire” who was now not interested in money and offered his secrets for a “small price”. When someone he is tired of making money, why does he not make a simple web-page about secrets and publish it. Got idea? None of these sites can be trusted.
Let me give one more example, I am registered with Bidvertiser, an ad network like adsense. I have chosen to manually approve my ads, so I am shown the list with maximum bid for a specific ad. Obviously, there are many ads from such money making websites. One such website ad was, “Make $1-Million Online.” and its bid was $0.05 When those people knew about making millions online, they would themselves had made it before. And if they had millions, they could afford a bigger bid to attract more customers. But it is clear, they were no millionaires. They were too, the “Dream Sellers”.
I can write a bigger article about such sites that would go few hundred pages long, but people will read it, some day encounter such a site, and buy the dream for a big cost just to keep that dream a dream. Just apply simple logic, if you had a secret formula that would make you, let’s say, $5000 every month online, would you ever share it? Sharing it would mean more competition and that would lower your own income. Would you share that formula? No! Then why these companies/people are giving you these formulas? Simple, they are watching for fools who will buy there product with eyes closed. This is same case as that of fortune tellers. They tell your fortune but don’t know what would happen to them next second! Did you ever notice the site design. These sites start with a big header, “You can be a Billionaire”, in between, you find pictures and statements of some “satisfied customers” and end with the “You can be a Billionaire” and a big “Order Now, Only $29.99, Limited Time Offer.” One thing I have noticed is that in most of the cases, these “Limited Time Offers” continue as long as site is there.
It does not mean that you can not make money online. There are many sources that can get you money online. Blogs are good source for online income. But remember your blog can be successful if and only if you post regularly, place ads intelligently, promote your blog well and most importantly, maintain balance between quality and quantity. A blog with 10 posts a day can not be popular if the content is not good and a blog with top quality content will never get readers if posts are not regular. If you do not have the time to design a blog and post regularly, you can try sites like Triond that put your content on famous websites where it is easily accessible. This saves you from trouble of prompting your site and give regular income as people visit your content.
The point is that you can dream of making money by any method, but these dreams can be turned into reality only if you have good content with a good idea.
Hope this article helped you.
