There are a number of places available in any community to get stuff to sell on eBay. Most of them are right under your nose.
Finding items to sell on
eBay
can be confusing at first, but once you have located a few places to get the items, selling on eBay gets much faster and easier. The key is to identify the places that regularly have new items to sell and visiting those places regularly.
One of the most popular places to look for things to sell o n eBay is garage sales. This sounds a lot easier than it really is, but the profit potential is unlimited. Before buying anything from a garage sale, make sure you know how much the item is worth. Even if something is a great bargain at the sale, the asking price may still be more than people are willing to pay on eBay. Buy items that you are familiar with so that you can be sure of a profitable sale.
Another place to look is thrift stores. Some of the most profitable collectibles, such as figurines and ceramics, can be found at thrift stores. Visit them often to get the best items before they are sold. Remember that other eBay sellers are visiting the stores regularly and you have to get these items before they do. Selling thrift store items on eBay often means cleaning them up before they are sold. Never sell a dirty item that you wouldn’t want to have in your own home.
Buying items from estate sales is another way to get inexpensive items for eBay sales. These sales can often be expensive, but they are the best places to get antiques and other high-dollar items for eBay. Be selective in what you buy from an estate sale, however, as the bidding price may go over what you can expect to earn from a sale. Also remember that most estate sales and estate auctions add a 10 percent buyer’s premium to the price. Factor that into what the asking price is for each item.

I Disagree with Ron Becker, he thinks ebay is just for him and no one else. Everyone is trying to make a living not just you. When you started selling on ebay, you didn’t had any knowledge but you had to go and get help from others to get you started. Well, why do you disagree when someone else is doing it.
I think this is a good Article and i’ll start going to thrift store and estate sales.
Another good place for items would be, Ross Store and TjMaxx
