What are Your Income Goals for Triond?

Money Making

How much money do you want to make each month writing for Triond? What are your Triond income goals?

Many Triond writers have–lodged away at the back of their consciousness–income goals for Triond. We write, hoping to see the day when our Triond income is realized.

How do writers stay on track so that they reach their income goals for Triond?

Triond Income Goals

One strategy is to look at the number of articles you’ve written and then see what you are making each month.

  • Let’s use this model: 100 articles = $25.00 per month.

Using this formula then, you know that in order to make $100.00 per month writing for Triond, you will need to produce around 400 articles.

Right now, you may be thinking: good grief! that’s so many articles! It is . . . but Rome wasn’t . . . and Triond income isn’t . . .  built in one day.

Okay, continuing with the formula: you’ve produced 100 articles, which means you have to produce another 300 articles. How do you do that so that your income goals for Triond come from the realm of fantasy and morph into the reality of your desired monthly payments?

Let’s Do the Math:

There are 365 days in a year. I’m assuming you want to reach your Triond income goals in one year.

It can be seen that this works out to be less than one article per day: 365 days-300 articles = +65 days.

What this means is that you would need to write an article a day for most of the year. If you do this, you will reach your total income goals for Triond in that time period. However . . .

While some prolific writers produce an astonishing 2-5 articles each day–and I applaud their efforts–the rest of us struggle along, hoping to see our Triond income grow through steady, all-be-it slower effort.

  • If you produce 1 article each week, that amounts to 52 articles in one year.
  • Two articles per week = 104 articles in one year (now remember, you’ve already created 100 articles and are making around $25.00 per month).

What’s Been Learned?

So by simply writing 2 articles each week and sticking to it, you can double your income in one year. Instead of making approximately 25.00 per month, this will increase to around $50.00 per month, which means you would reach the halfway mark for your income goals for Triond.

In the end, the secret to success is perhaps found through setting reasonable and reachable goals, so that one stays on target and crosses the finish line, eventually reaching Triond income goals.

Could you produce 2 articles each week? If so, you will double your Triond income in one year. It should be obvious this won’t happen overnight but with sustained effort, it will become a reality.

Create a workable and reachable plan and then stick to it. Doing so will facilitate reaching your income goals for Triond.

Recap: 2 articles a week, double your income.

This also depends on how many views you are getting, I got 800 views on my craigslist story maybe more then that, its all marketing mostly I am up all night running ads, believe me I am feeling tired the next day, doing all this work, is tough for me!

Great article Athlyn – your articles are always motivating.
I would comment that although it does take more articles to drive more income, submitting well thought out, researched, and well written articles will have a much greater impact than churning out daily ‘fluff’.
I also believe that your articles can build on each other. If you have a small number of subject areas you are well versed in or feel strongly about, you can build a larger reader base who will continue reading your articles than if your articles are somewhat haphazardly addressing random subject areas.
An additional advantage to this approach, as you’ve addressed in your previous articles, is that it lends itself placing links to your other work within the article!

    Hello Everyone,

    Thanks for your feedback.

Income amounts will, of course, differ for each person’s “100 articles = $$$,” formula because much depends on marketing efforts, article topics, keyword optimization and author popularity, as has been mentioned.

I used my own model and realize that others may have lesser or greater article earnings, per every 100 articles.

Ken has made an excellent point: if we want to be taken seriously, and read, our articles cannot just be churned out in an attempt to earn. They must be timely and informative or engage the reader in some other fashion.

I believe, though, if we as authors, use this general guide, it will help us to stay focused on the end result.

Did you catch the keywords in this article? While somewhat repetitive, these help search engines to point their “noses” towards optimized articles.

    Good article.
I don’t write for the money on Triond ( though I readily accept it ). What I write for is the practice and feedback. My goal is to write books: Triond provides a way for me to see what pieces strike a chord with readers. In the end, Triond will help me make money, but it probably won’t be from the web site!
    Thanks,
    Clay

    Thanks Everyone,

Hi Clay, I, too, am writing books, which are my first passion. Creative writing is my first love; however, articles help to pay the bills.

    Athlyn,
I decided to go toward the end of the list of published article and I found this helpful one you wrote. I have struggled over the past year staying consistent writing articles. Sometimes I can do 4-7 articles per month and sometimes 1 do to school, work and family committments. Many times it is just writer’s block. This article reminds me to set goals for myself each month. It is my goals to make atleast $500 per month writing. That way it has more rewards for me than just a hobby. (Plus my wife would like for me to see some fruits for my labor).
    Take care,
    Chris
