Quality over quantity or quantity over quality.
Whether your new to Triond or have been here since it began there’s only one way to make money. That way is to get views on your various published works. If your doing Triond because you want to make some money then let me tell you the statistics of Triond. Triond offers you about 1 cent every 7-9 views on your published work. While that seems like very little if you truly work hard you should be able to make some money. If you publish one work income will be dreadfully slow. To truly make some money on Triond you need to consider three different factors: Quality, Quantity, and Fans. If you write the most dull, boring, monotonous, 70 yr old junk that nobody wants to read about you will get 0 views MAYBE one if your lucky. However if you write something truly interesting say… maybe how Roger Fedrer just won his first French Open right after he wins it, you’ll probably get plenty of views. Now while quality is very important in your writing you must also have a large amount of published works. Even if you write one amazing piece of work, you need 800 views on that one work to get $1. Not that i’m saying thats impossible, but it’ll take a very, very, very, long time. BUT if you can publish say… one hundred works. Everyday each one will probably get atleast 1 view. If your a remotely decent writer you should be able to get 3-5 views a day, and if you advertise you should be able to get 8+ per topic. With 100 different works that’s $1 or more a day, plus if you have loads of fans you’ll get even more views. That being said we should get on our topic of fans. If you have no friends on Triond nobody will get a notification that you’ve just published a piece of work. You could publish something to rival shakespeare but nobody will know. Get your name out on the Forums, make friends, and maybe invite some of your real life friends to join you on Triond as well. If you do all of these things, you can be a very successful Trionder (if thats a word). Good luck.
