A review of the different methods people use to get article views – some good and some bad – and a few of my secrets on how I get impressive amounts of article views daily.
So you ask, How do I get people to view my Triond Article. This is one of the most common questions I have ever heard in my entire time I’ve been a web junky. There are quite a few ways to gain traffic to your articles and I will outline a few of them for you.
StumbleUpon

One of the most popular and most talked about ways of getting article views is StumbleUpon. Many people believe that stumbleupon can be one of the many ways to gain traffic to their articles, But they are very wrong. I have tested stumbleupon houndreds upon houndreds of times and the results are little to none, I might gain 1-10 article views from putting my content on stumbleupon and in my eyes that is really not enough. Many people have success storys on StumbleUpon about them getting 10, 000 articles views in a flash and gaining heaps and heaps of revenue and recognition of their articles, I believe these are made up storys OR one in a million chance that stumbleupons server had a severe glitch in it and was sending tons of traffic to an article. StumbleUpon just does not work and for that, I rate StumbleUpon a 2 out of 5.
MySpace / Web 2.0 Communities

This ones also a massive one, Advertising on facebook or MySpace to friends and groups to gain traffic to your articles. As with StumbleUpon I tested this method and I got pretty average results out of it. I gained around 50 hits from advertising on a web 2.0 community. This method may be good for you if you have tons and tons of friends and are a part of heaps of groups of which whos members are happy to read your articles but in most cases it just wont work. I rate it a 3 out of 5.
My Method
My Method is probably one of the easiest and simplest ways to gain traffic. Add people on triond and get people to add you back. Okay so lets think about this, When you sign on you see friends activity. Now personally I am very intrigued to click on other peoples content and compare it to mine. Hey looky here! A great source of article traffic. If you add heaps of people on Triond and start uploading content, it will show up under friend activity, on the first page after you login. I have personally used this method a lot and I can tell you now, I have gained a lot of traffic. I’m averaging around 150-200 article views a day and 15-30 USD a month in profits from Triond.
Conclusion
There are many many ways to gain traffic to your articles, Think about it. What can you do to get your friends, or people you don’t know to go and view your articles. Lateral thinking will help you a lot in gaining fans and profits on triond, it may not be easy at the start but after time you will be in a position where you can feel you have achieved something, achieved something which another person might had not.
Thank you for your interest and good luck in the future,

I have also found that the most effective way to increase article views is being active among the readers. It has worked for me on other sites.

I vehemently with respect disagree with your contention that StumbleUpon is of no help, however, it has to be done correctly and effectively. If a particular domain (such as Triond) is ’stumbled’ too often, the analytics will ignore the favor. The article or page can be ‘voted down’ by other SU users, driving traffic down. Or the article can be submitted to an incorrect catagroy; a article about animal eyes for instance should be submitted to “NATURE” or “”ANIMALS” if if someone submits it to “EXOTIC PETS”, it gets shunned. :-
The content has to be highly favored by the SU community, and be ‘hot.’ I have seen article receiving thousands of views per hours, for days at a time. When this finally happens for you, I am sure you will appreciate the power of Stumble and what it can do for promotion.
Perhaps “…have tested stumbleupon houndreds upon houndreds of times…” is part of the problem. Sounds to me as if you were ‘thumbing-up’ everything in a wanton fashion. Hundred of random stumbles probably do little for integrity. A good ’stumbler’ needs to ’stumble’ responsibly.

this is kinda stupid… tbh soz bro cause most of our first ideas are to stumble upon and digg and stuff but adding friends? thats just dumb. if i was someone’s friend, i wouldnt care what they say. especially because u had just met them.
