Triond: Fail Much?

Money Making

Do you make a lot of money? Do you make a little? Here’s why.

Ever say “I’m gonna post 2 articles for the week” and after the week you have 40 views and $0.00?  This is a common mistake amongst people on Triond.  You should make as many articles as you can.

Over here it’s quantity over quality, instead of the other way around.  Make as many articles and poems that you can.

It’s not about what you like.  Write about what people want to see.  If you don’t do this, no one would want to read your article.

Putting images and other pictures would allow your article to be published faster, and would also attract new readers.  Try this out sometimes, OK?

This article is far too summarized for a topic such as this. Also, most of the information is inaccurate. I am not trying to be an abrasive critic. I am simply pointing out the facts so that you can be more educated and so those reading this article are not mislead. It is not all negative, however. Here is the correct information I found in you article:

“Over here it’s quantity over quality, instead of the other way around.”

That is true, but only partly. It is true for Triond and how they approach publishing content. You could literally write a two sentence article and triond will publish it. Also, you will notice that the ads take precedence over content. Triond makes their money through ad revenue. With that said, it stands to reason that they are more concerned with publishing as many pages as they can to increase the potential for ad visibility and, therefore, clicks. You are missing one very important fact here. For them to gain that visibility, you need to drive as much traffic to the article as possible. You absolutely can not do this consistently with poor quality articles. If you think you can, good luck.

“It’s not about what you like. Write about what people want to see.”

This is also true only partly. You can write what you want and learn to promote it through the proper venues that correlate to that specific niche. It still has to be quality work, though. With poor quality work you will get one-time readers, if that.

Here is what I found to be completely inaccurate:

“Ever say “I’m gonna post 2 articles for the week” and after the week you have 40 views and $0.00?”

First of all, you can publish two articles a week and earn fairly decently with them. Two main factors are at play here; quality content and sufficient promotional efforts on your part. Secondly, on average, 40 views would earn you .02 to .07 cents and that is not counting the very rare, yet possible, 50% of ad click revenue.

” Putting images and other pictures would allow your article to be published faster, and would also attract new readers.”

This is absolutely 100% false. Adding multimedia such as photos and video is a great idea to add to the quality and aesthetics of the article, but it actually takes longer to publish them. This is because Trionds automated editorial process take extra time to verify sources and such. As to the last portion of your statement and, as stated above, the only thing that will attract new readers is promotional efforts and quality content.

This is intended to educate you. I know it is easy to form assumptions as to how publishing with Triond works when you are new, but if your information is flawed, you are providing a disservice to the community.

Wow quite some points there from REPuckett. I have not written any article but based on my experience 20 views on my photo can generate 0.01 earning and I have not figured out the rate for the “I like it” and the comments. The counting of views displayed on the dashboard is for 2 days so do not get confused.
