Here are the six sites I am currently writing for and wanted to share with those of you are interested.
Since I firmly believe in sharing information that may help other writers, and my article about Factoidz proved to be helpful to many writers looking for new sites on which to make money. I decided to share with everyone the six sites I now currently write for and what I like about each one.
Please keep in mind that many of these sites are still new to me, and I am still learning about the ups and downs of these sites. However, it never hurts to check these sites out for yourself and see if any of them fits your talents and skills.
Triond
The fact I write for Triond is obvious to anyone who is reading this article or have read of my past articles. I truly love this site for many reasons. I love the input from other writers, the good friends I have made here, and the chance to write any kind of article I desire.
This site has helped me to spread my wings and try new things. It has taught me a little about promoting my work, and has given me the opportunity to read many fine works written by other writers.
While, at first, I did not like how difficult it was to try and get views to my articles, I now see that as a benefit. It has not only forced me to work hard to write better thus increasing my views but has also forced me to learn at least a few marketing techniques to get those views up.
I also enjoy watching both my daily views and earnings grow. It has given me a sense of accomplishment.
Bukisa
The one thing I like about Bukisa is like Triond it allows me to write pretty much what I would like. Like Triond it gives me an opportunity to try my hand at writing on different topics.
What I don’t like about this site is that it takes much longer for me to get an article published and seems resistant to any promotion I try to my articles viewed. For that reason, I find myself writing much less frequently than I do on any other site.
Helium
The best thing about Helium is there are so many ways a writer can make money. You get paid per view payments, upfront payments, contests, and marketplace to choose from. On top of that if you have at least one star for writing and rating you also get an additional bonus if you are the first one to write to a topic.
If you write good solid articles this all means that the money on this site can add up pretty quickly which is in itself rewarding.
Helium also helped me to get my first print article published by competing in the marketplace. That was an important step for me, and a wonderful chance to gain even more experience.
If there is anything I don’t like about this site, it is the rating system. While I can’t think of fairer way to rate articles, I sometimes find that the people who are doing the rating have no rhyme or reason to how they rate.
Associate Content
I love the challenge of writing for this site. They also pay both upfront and pay per view options for your articles. However, if you want to qualify for an upfront payment your articles not only have to be well written but quite original as well. They also want the rights to any article that they pay you upfront for so if you are someone who likes to post the same article on several sites, then you will be unable to take advantage of the upfront payments.
One thing I recently learn about the site that I am not so thrilled about is that even if you have an original, well written article you may not get the upfront payment if your overall views are not high. The logic behind this I am told is that if a lot of people are not following your articles, they are not making money off purchasing those articles.
EHOW
Ehow is one of the two newest sites I have begun writing for. The site has it’s own format you have to follow but the format is quite simple and easy to follow. You can summit articles you have published other places as long as you change them to fit their format and after you publish the first several they publish subsequent work quickly.
It is easy to make friends and get views on this site so, you know your articles are being read which is a great asset to most writers, and other members of the site are willing to give you comments and vote up your articles if they like them.
The one thing I don’t like about this site, is long members tell me that you really don’t make any money at all until you have posted somewhere in the vicinity of 50 articles. Not being able to see any earnings for so long makes it difficult for me to stay on task.
I have been told however, that once you have fifty articles published for them your earnings are quite impressive. I don’t know if this is true or not as I still have about 30 articles to go.
Factoidz
I really like this site but I am still learning about it. It is a fairly easy site to write for and I like doing their format.
However, as near as I can make out, you do need to have at least ten articles published before they will actually send you a check and I have not yet been able to discover if there is a minimum you have to earn. I have read on the site from other writers that they do pay you but none were very helpful in telling me exactly how the pay system works.
While these sites may not be for everyone, it is my hope that everyone finds at least one of sites worth checking out. I also hope that by writing this article and sharing this information others with knowledge about these sites will add to the information I have given and introduce new sites they discover as well.
We are all in this together, and share information about writing sites can be a great benefit to all.

Good information. I like to stay informed. Triond fits me so well I don’t even have the desire to write for another site. Of course in this business things can change over night.

I’ve seen some of the things you have here in other articles as well. You have two things that I have not heard of, which is ehow and factoidz. There’s also another site to earn money, but it’s not a writing site. I don’t want to post link here, but if you want to you can message me for it. Thanks for the informative article.
