“If you can dream it, you can do it.” -Walt Disney.

I’m a voracious reader of books about success, inspiration and improving your life. Anything that can give you the energy, confidence and strength to continue to believe in your vision despite the obstacles and challenges in life is something I value and focus my time and effort in.
I’ve read many times that it’s crucial to your success to not only think and talk about your dreams all the time, you must also plan and in a sense “map” out the steps to reach them. For example, if you decided to take a trip to a new city you’ve never been to before, you must pull out a map and figure out how to get there. You must plan the days you’ll be going, how you will get there, who you will travel with, etc. It’s nice to think about it, but if you really want to do something, it is up to you and only you to put that desire in action.
Since I began writing for Triond, it has been my dream and vision to become financially independent via my articles. In the beginning this sounded like a far away fairytale dream, especially when I only made a mere $1.16 my first month, I thought I have a long way to go. Two years, later as I’ve learned much about what it takes to produce views, comments, and quality work, I’m seeing a significant, consistent and steady rise in my monthly Triond income.
While the road to financial freedom is still in the beginning stages, each month that I make a noticeable profit and my efforts are truly being rewarded it gives me the positive reinforcement I need to continue in the direction I’m heading. Taking the advice of the books I’ve read, I’m starting to more clearly “map” out my plan to make this dream come true. For example, I’ve made a goal to write 100 articles on health by December 2009. In my experience with Triond, I’ve found that health articles offer the most income return and continue to be viewed with the highest frequency over poems and pictures ensuring you consistent, growing income over time. But this phenomenon does not often occur without effort on your part. It’s important to understand that you still need to be consistent in what you do everyday that brought you to where you are right now. For more detailed advice check out: The Triond Writer’s Guide to Success.
Along the way, it’s a good idea to stay open to other means of income.
For example, I’ve found a couple of sites that give you a steady payout with the means to make significantly more with referrals and other choices. Recently, I just signed up for a site called Bux.to. I’ve only been a part of this site for about a week and I’ve already made 1.06 just by clicking ads. This opened my eyes and made me wonder about the other sites that I might not even know about that offer amazing money making opportunities like this.
Remember, it all adds up.
How did I find out about the above site? Searching through Triond’s key word “money” and supporting my fellow writers who are helping me find new ways to earn more income. It’s win-win for everyone!
And, lastly, the second site I’ve discovered that gives you steady income for clicking on ads is InboxDollars. The great thing about this site is that it delivers emails directly to your personal email account. You don’t have to go searching for ads on their site; instead, all you have to do is simply check your email. In addition to this convenience, they offer you a $5 sign up bonus off the bat. You receive your first paycheck when you hit $30. While it takes a while to build up, I’ve currently made $14.01 and for a few seconds of my time a day it’s like receiving a free month of cable. Every little bit makes a difference.
So what are you waiting for?
Take time to see what avenues of wealth await to help you pave your path to financial freedom. You ARE making it happen for yourself with every intelligent, thoughtful, profitable decision you make today, tomorrow and the next.
(Please note: I’ve since done some research and found many articles and sites claiming that Bux.to might be a scam. Please keep this in mind before you spend anytime or money on them. I also believe that you must choose only those opportunities that keep you focused on your goals. If something takes too much of your time or leads you away from your vision, it’s something to let go of. I believe it’s smart to keep your eyes open to new income earning avenues, however, you must also remain focused on your number one goal always. And, I stand firmly to Triond’s legitimacy and endless possibilities. You can and ARE making all your dreams come true. I once spoke with a billionaire who told me that he began with 1K and turned it into a forturne in the next 20 years. The reason he became successful was because he made wise decisions and perservered even when it took time for the fruits of his profits to grow. Your story will be the same as well. “The only limits in life are those we place upon ourselves.”)

a very enjoyable article to read. i felt very much inspired and revatilised after it. i loved the last sentence (quote) “every little bit helps”(unquote. i agree 100% with every word. we have to make a mental map of our desires and needs. also, i am thinking of a famous chinese proverb which goes something like, “it takes one step to reach a thousand miles.” or “without questions, there would be no wisdom”

You have given me a lift. I was thinking about packing the writing in as the urge to write has faded considerably, but maybe this will give me the impetus I need to keep going. Thank you.

Thank you for such a wonderful article filled with pratical advice. I too am experiencing an increase in revenue of Triond – to the tune of a few dollars a month. The key is to find the right topics for articles that readers will be interested in finding more information on.

Great encouraging post. I wish you the best with all you do. You are one of my favorite people! My roadway here has too many potholes to rely on any kind of wealth for substancial income.I rely elsewhere for that as well.

My first month on Triond I earned 30 cents. I thought that was an improvement over poems thrown in a drawer taking up space, so I kept after it. April and May have both brought in $3.00. As a sustainable income, that isn’t a lot, but it is still an improvement over nothing. I tried Inboxdollars. I found them to take more of my time than I had to give. I prefer writing, because I am getting pennies for something I would be doing anyway. A couple of people have recommended other writing sites, which I will be trying out this summer. This is a thoughtful article that recognizes that making money from writing requires persistence, analytical thinking, and a quality product.

Yes, I started posting my writing here for the money, but have found that when you see that someone from New Zealand has read and liked something you wrote, that is better than money.
But I still need the money, so I’m glad you wrote this.
I hope that inboxdollars and bux.to are not like ClickForABuck.com. (known as the biggest ripoff site) A lot of those sites are major ripoffs of your time.
I’ve made most of my Triond money from food and recipe articles, but the one thing that has done the best is my story “Attic Floor”.

I thank you for writing this informative article. I need to know just what it takes to make more money on Triond. So many people seem to be leaving because they are not making any money. I would like to stay and make money. So, thank you for writing this. I will definitely reread your article. Since November, 2008 I have made just $10.00.

Right about the Picable side of things, the revenue takes a long while to build-up! But thats not really the reason for me sharing my pictures…..just to share!
Good advice though for those who want to get more.

I think you’re heart needs to be in the right place to make money here. I try to poetry for myself, not worrying about what they earn. However, I have also learned what topics will make me money.
Excellent advice Liane.

I’m totally inspired by the way you people make such an appealing article. This is just my second week on Triond and am glad to have earned about $1.05 for just simply uploading pics and some not so interesting articles.
I have way much to learn about these stuff, but am definitely enjoyed reading your articles

I do respect your judgement, but if I’m honest, I don’t think Triond offers anything in the ‘financial’ sense anymore. It used to be where hard work and flawless writing paid off with thousands of views per night. This is no longer possible, and without thousands of views, you cannot make any real money.
Of course people reading your work is a plus, but if you’re a freelance writer, writing is your work, it’s how you get paid. Payment therefore, becomes a large part of the process. If you were a plumber by trade, fixing people’s taps, regardless of how much you enjoy it, is not a hobby for you.
Thanks for your article.
