If you have recipes that you have mastered and you know techniques, tips and have lots of ideas, you can publish articles on them to earn some extra income. Online writing and publishing is getting more and more popular, and you don’t have to be a professional writer in order to write and publish. It is very quick to start and doesn’t cost you anything.
All you need is an internet connection and a word processing program.
I use Microsoft Word but if you don’t have it in your computer, you can download a free word processing program called Open Office. I personally have not tried it yet, but I heard from my friend that Open Office works great too.
You can write today and see your article published tomorrow.
Some online publishers are very fast in publishing your articles. An example is Triond. Most of the time it takes less than 24 hours for Triond to publish your content. If you have not heard of it you can find your basic questions answered in this article: “What is Triond?”
You are not limited to writing text only, you can submit photos and video as well.
At this writing when I tried to Google my article “Perfect Pancakes Recipe”, it showed up on the first page of Google. This is how I did it: After I published my perfect pancake recipe, I posted the link on social bookmarking sites (StumbleUpon and Digg). Then I shared the article on some Mom’s forums. By placing the links on these places then more people read my article. If you have recipes to share, you can do this too.
You can share other topics, too!
Recipes is only one category, and there are many other categories you can write about. You can write about your hobbies too. You can write about the things you’re good at and the things you enjoy. Once you start writing you’ll get more and more ideas on what to write next. It is a lot of fun.
But remember, be patient.
It takes time for topics to be popular. Make your content interesting to read. People read articles mostly because they want to learn something. Through your articles you are sharing or teaching others what you know. The more effort you put into it and the more promotion you do, and the more articles you write, the more potential there will be.
