EBay selling has gotten easier!
I’ve been selling on eBay since 1997 and I must say that the new eBay “Sell Your Item” form has made that first listing so much easier for the new seller.
For many the listing process may intimidate the member into listing an item when in all reality the listing process is literally as easy as 1-2-3.
Follow along while I walk you through this easy process. You don’t need to list an item right now, but I want to show you how easy it is. You can follow along and not list an item for now.
OK, lets get started!
Log into eBay.com notice the upper right corner and click on SELL.
Then click on: START SELLING.
The next page you view will be to Select a Category. For this demo click on “Browse Categories” then click: ANTIQUES. Notice the Subcategory will appear. Pick the top one: Antiquities and again, another category will appear. Pick one more: The Americas.
Now you can click on the bottom of the page: CONTINUE.
Here is the important part, notice the screen you’re viewing: “Create Your Listing”, on the right of the page click on: SWITCH TO SIMPLE FORM. A notice will pop-up asking if you are sure you want to switch to simple form, click YES!
You will then be set to list an item on the SIMPLE 1-2-3 listing form. Go ahead and review the page and when you see how easy it is to use, grab an item from around the house and go back to SELL ITEM on the right top of eBay.com and JUMP IN! Seek out the category of your item and remain to use the simple form until you feel like giving the advanced form a try!

I can’t figure ebay out. I think it hates me. But this helps a little.

Wow, 3 comments on the very day the article is published? I’ll wager that you personally know all three of them which, in itself isn’t a bad thing.
I honestly didn’t learn a thing from this article. You may be a Powerseller but I doubt it. Most Powersellers use other templates which are available through eBay or other sites, and have no need for the one you describe.
You forgot to mention that all you really need is to type in at least three key words concerning your item and eBay automatically gives you your category and sub-category.
