My Bukisa Story – Week 2

Money Making

Here we go, things really starting pick up! two weeks writing for Bukisa and, I didnt think I would say this, I am really enjoying the experience! Writing started off being a bit of a bore, I couldn’t find anything that I wanted to write about, then, one day not so long ago things just seemed to “click”.

Writing became not so much about “I have to write this article by a certain time on this certain topic” but more about writing when I felt like it, about what ever happened to pop into my head. I would, quite literally, just start typing and not stop until the article was almost finished! Then add a title, some tags, maybe a picture or two (proof read it, of course!) and submit, off it goes to the editors and at most a day later it was online getting views! Awesome!

My targets for this week were a bit ambitious to say the least, I wanted to get 27 articles written. As i have a full time job, and am VERY lazy it’s hardly suprising I only managed 5 articles (as I said I am very lazy) ;) None the less things have actually turned out quite nicely, views and earnings have rocketed upwards, a total of 60 views made me a cool $0.21 cents this week! That makes the grand total stand at 73 views and $0.25.

Not bad, eh? If things carry on at this rate I am going to be earning around $0.04 per day with a total of 28 articles up; which means each article is earning me an average of  $0.007 each and every day! Doesn’t sound quite as good when you put it like that!

So whats next then. This week I am going to try to knuckle down a little more than the last, not anything crazy like 50 articles, but I am going for 10. Just 10. I know I only managed 5 this week but as mentioned, it’s knuckle-down time! This will bring my total articles to 38, and I am estimating a total profit overall of $0.50. Let’s see how I get on!

I haven’t looked at Bukisa yet. Then again I don’t write as many articles to be both sides. Glad you are doing well.;)
