A digital camera offers some amazing money making opportunities when used with the internet. You can shoot all your favourite photograhs and then upload them to the internet where they will sit and make money for you even while you sleep.
There are a number of ways in which you can do this:
1. Use a microstock agency such as iStockPhoto.com or featurepics.com. These will pay you less than a dollar per photo download usually, but you can keep earning over and over again. You can also upload your photo to as many stock sites as you like and have multiple streams of income from the same photo. More money for you!
Usually in microstock your photos are placed in a searchable database on the website and if someone likes it they buy it. You receive a share of the price it sells for. That’s how you make your money in microstock.
2. Use a macrostock agency and upload your photos here. Usually you will be selling exclusive rights to your photographs so you will earn more (approx 50 dollars or more). If you have good photography skills this is a good idea. Try photographersdirect.com.
3. Sites such as triond.com will pay you too. If you upload a photographs and someone views it, you receive a payout. It’s only a small payout but with enough photos who knows what you can achieve!
