Using widgets to increase coverage of articles, photos, videos, music, etc.
Are you a
Triond
contributor? Would you like get more readers for your articles and make more money? Get more viewers for your videos? Get more listeners for your music?
There is an easy way to increase your coverage but it takes a little bit of patience and some very basic computer skills. First of all, if you look on Triond and select the “Help” tab at the top of the page, you will find a link entitled “Increase your income”. Scroll down the page to “My articles widget” (or my photographs, audio, or video, whichever suits you). This link allows you to get a snippet of html code that can be pasted into any website that will allow you to do so.
Place it on your own sites, offer other people free content, etc. This widget lists your articles, photos, etc and updates them when you add a new one. Readers can click on the article and go directly to your work on Triond. You get coverage for your work and the site owner gets free content that changes regularly.
There is another way to use your newly made widget that will get you much wider coverage. Go to the website called
widgetbox.com
and add your widget to their system. It will become available to anyone who wishes to add it to their website. You will then be syndicating your work all over the internet. This increases the number of readers. Rewards from this are not instant but they will certainly build up in time.
If you have never done anything like this before, don’t be intimidated. It’s easy to build your widget on Triond and Widget Box gives a step by step guide. If you can “cut and paste” you can do this.
