You get paid based on how many people read your article. You must be 18 years old to join, and you are payed through Pay-Pal once your earnings reach $10. Check payment isn’t supported, unfortunately. However, since you can only upload how to guides, it will somewhat limit what you can write. You can’t upload opinions, blogging articles, stories or poems, only guides on how to do things. Photos and videos can also be uploaded, and you can make money off of video guides as well.
