In Todays society many people own a website or blog, these lie idol, and earn no money, when there is a great possibility that they may have an earning potential. How much money you earn from your blog will depend entirely on how many people visit your site.

Google Adsense is an advertising host run by google. Once you sign up for an account you can link it to your website or blog and depending on the amount of views and clicks the advert gets. If your blog is highly popular then you will have the potential to earn a lot of money from this. The higher traffic you have, the greater income you will have. Send some emails round to your friends, get them to tell people about your site. If your site promotes products, or if you think that there is a way into the market for that, then you can try using the amazon afilates program. You link a product to your site, and if someone buys that product, or any other product whilst browsing you earn a small revenue from the product. This can be great if you do movie reviews and product reviews.
If you have a blog on celebrities then get a zazzle account and make some products to do with celebrities. You can then link these products to the certain page on your site. On zazzle there are hundreds of different products you can design, from postage stamps to skateboards, and mugs to aprons. There is no end to the amount of products you can make, and as soon as you have $25 in your account you can get a pay out.

Aside from Google ads, you can put your banner referral links from your other earning sites to your blog. A blogsite is a good medium for exposure and promotion. :-d
