Is the new site, Lockerz, really worth all the buzz that surrounds it?
Owned by Liberty Media, Lockerz opened it’s site early this year and has been promoted like crazy ever since. The site is a simple one, with a blue layout. It’s easy to navigate, though most of it’s features are yet to be released as of writing date.
The concept is also a simple one. Every day, you have the chance to earn Pointz (or PTZ) from the site by logging in (2 PTZ) and answering a daily question (2 PTZ) giving you a total of four pointz a day. The daily questions are purely opinionated. For example, one of the daily question was “Texting or Email?” When you answer the question, you are awarded with your pointz. You can also earn by referring other users.
The referral system is like any other one. You invite users, and you earn pointz. You get 2 PTZ for every member you invite.Instead of earning a cut or their PTZ, if you invite 20 friends, you are awarded a status called “Z-lister” status. It allows you to earn double the amount of PTZ daily, making your daily amount 8 pointz.
All of this work is put to good use. The pointz you accumulate are used towards a variety rewards, from an iPod to a tote bag. The prizes are rather low in price.

The site is proven to be legitimate. There are many users that have received their prizes and the site is backed by a legitimate company.
To conclude my review, the site really is something special but the buzz that is currently surrounding the internet isn’t doing the site well in building a good reputation. Most of this buzz is generated with spam. Nonetheless, the site is worth the time and (lack of) effort put in.
