The advertising networks are a great incentive to make a great site. However most of them will give you money even when you do not perform like you should. It’s much like getting money for something you did not do well.

Networks that pay you based on your clicks or impressions are not training you to do well. The ultimate goal of the ad is to sell the advertised product and you play the most important role on it.

CPA networks like Commission Junction, like Clickbank used with CBclicks.com and Hydra network will pay you ONLY when you sell, this means that you either perform your best or you do not make the money.

I believe sincerely this is the best system for us all and Google is not using it yet because of the tracking system. As soon as they master this, Adsense will pay you based only on sales, I bet on it.

With Cost Per Action or Cost Per Sale networks you will have to make a site that is good to the visitor and that actually sells the advertised product.

You will see how much it changes your mind set. Now you are not interested in clicks or impressions anymore, you are just interested in the SALE.

This way everything you do with your site will influence the amount of sales and using a CPA network to see how many sales you actually make and using Google Analytics you can see which are the best content pages, which are the most profitable pages, you can even see which pages your users use to leave the site, giving you great data about what needs to be improves and about what does not need any improvement.

It’s a hard way to make money, specially when you start, but as soon as you master it, you will not want to do anything else or use any other network. Nothing feels so good like seeing how many sales you little site or big site generated!
