I guess almost all of us are asking ourselves this question. Is it really worth it writing for Triond ? How long before we could earn a higher income and not just a few cents a month? Do we still have to market our articles so we could earn more? How much are the others getting monthly? Which has higher revenue – articles, photos or videos?

I joined Triond more than 2 years ago. At first, I was skeptical. I wasn’t sure then if Triond really pays so I was hesitant to write. However I realized, there’s nothing wrong if I’ll give it a try. When I bought a new digicam, I enjoyed taking pictures and thought I’d better post them all to Triond. I submitted the pictures but I was frustrated when I only saw that I was earning a few cents for the more than 20 photos I submitted. Then I thought making my own videos would be a lot of task so I tried submitting articles also. It was then that I realized it is possible to earn from Triond. I saw I was getting traffic and earned from my articles. The income though was not much since I only submitted a few but at least I was earning. Everything big starts from something small so I said to myself, “what if I submit as many articles as I can? Will I still earn the same amount or will my income increase ?” I wanted to give it a try so I submitted a few more.

From my experience, 25 of my articles earn me from $6.5-$7.5 monthly. Suppose I will get the same revenue for every 25 articles I submit, that would mean for every hundred, I will earn from $26 to $30. This makes it 200 articles at $52-$60. The key here is to write as many articles as we can. This rate is what I am earning now without marketing my articles. Most probably, if I tell my family, my friends offline and on the web, I’ll earn eventually more than that.

I did the following computation to have a projected income from Triond by the end of the year supposing I submit two articles daily or fourteen in a week. This may apply also to all the people out there who wants to earn money online through Triond. Suppose we start from March 10 and we set the monthly number of days to net 30, the estimated income for 60 articles at $14 (the least possibility) the computation will be as follows:

March 10-April 10
2 articles x 30 days = 60 articles
Estimated earnings: $14

April 11-May 10
2 articles x 30 days = 60 articles
Income: $14 + $14 (previous month’s)
Total earnings: $28

May 11-June 10
2 articles x 30 days = 60 articles
Income: $14 + $28
Total earnings: $42

June 11-July 10
2 articles x 30 days = 60 articles I
Income: $14 + $42
Total earnings: $56

July 11-August 10
2 articles x 30 days = 60 articles
Income: $14 + $56
Total earnings: $70

August 11-September 10
2 articles x 30 days = 60 articles
Income: $14 + $70
Total earnings: $84

September 11-October 10
2 articles x 30 days = 60 articles
Income: $14 + $84
Total earnings: $98

October 11-November 10
2 articles x 30 days = 60 articles
Income: $14 + $98
Total earnings: $112

November 11-December 10
2 articles x 30 days = 60 articles

So, with this pace and regular revenue from the articles we submit, by the end of the year, we will earn a monthly passive income of approximately $135. We can make that amount higher if we will make extra effort of marketing our posts. How much more if we keep on writing for 5 years? With that same computation, we will approximately earn $675 monthly after 5 years. For Filipinos, that is enough already for a whole month’s basic expenses. For those from other countries, that will help to pay for some bills. Who will give us this amount monthly for free? Nobody. This amount will even become higher if we write articles with highly targeted keywords and if we also do proper marketing of our work. So, is it possible to earn $100 monthly from Triond ? I can say yes. It just needs a bit of hard work at first but once we start earning that amount monthly, it will not stop unless Triond won’t be alive anymore.

Is it possible to earn money online? Yes, it is. I am earning monthly income online already and it has started to pay some of my bills. Aside from Triond, I also write in other communities in which I earn through adsense and I do write paid posts on my blogs. I am not earning that big yet from Triond but I am trying to submit a few articles a week to increase my income. The only problem here is time. If we won’t procrastinate and if we’ll be disciplined enough to follow the above plan, we will reap the rewards sooner.
