Some strategies you can use to bid.
OK, my last article about for10cents.com did very well, so I want to do a follow up. This is more specifics and strategies. If your new to the site, here’s how it works. The site puts items up for auction that can stay up until people stop bidding. Your goal is to get the last bid before it ends.
There are two kinds of bidding, auto bidding and single bidding. Auto bidding can waste your precious bids faster than single bids, but it gives you a much better chance of winning depending on the situation. People see computers go for 54 cents and say, “Wow, I wish that would of been me getting it.” That can happen, but you have to have a plan to win.
Single bidding, do it at the beginning or when two auto bids are going. If three people have auto bids going, odds are you won’t win an that putting single bids in randomly. If two people are going at it, you can put single bids at your own pace hoping to get it. Large items like computers usually go for more money so it’s tough to win those without a lot of bids so be careful putting any bid on large items. If you put single bids at the beginning and no auto bids are going on when no one else outbids you, you’ll win an easy auction. That’s how my mom won an ipod shuffle.
Auto bidding, it is tough to get used to. You use a lot of bids, but if done correctly can win you an auction if your lucky. Put some auto bids at the beginning of auctions, that way you might just get an easy win because people don’t usually like dealing with auto bidders. It works quite well, it’s got my mom bid cards multiple times all for less than 50 cents.
Tips @ Tricks:
If you want to limit auto bids, put 45 because that’s the minimum, but put the stopping limit where ever you don’t want to waste any more auto bids. Don’t forget this site is still a gamble, that’s why it stays up and running. Try to win 200 or 500 bid cards to start that way you have more bids to get better items like ipods, phones, computers, and all that other good stuff. That’s all I have for now, if you want to know anything, please just ask and I’ll tell. And always remember, this site is not a scam

Cool new site, I think I might take the time to register. But it seems like a gambling website, where you could lose your money if you don’t know what your doing.

IS THERE AN EASY TO SEE WHO ARE WINNING THE MOST AUCTIONS AND HOW MUCH THE ITEMS ARE SOLD FOR IF THERE WAS AN EASY TO GET THIS INFORMATION INTO A SPREADSHEET IT COULD BE SORTED TO SEE WHO ARE THE AGGRESSIVE BIDDERS AND AVOID THEM ALSO YOU COLD SEE WHT THE AVERAGE SELLING PRICE IS FOR DIFFERENT ITEMS AND SEE WHEN YOU MIGHT WANT TO STARTT BIDDING.

This is to Michael: That would be great, but think of the site like a poker site. People’s strategies are constantly being switched daily. Also, the time of day greatly effects how costly projects are won cheaply. I’ve studied a lot of the patterns on this site, and there’s only a few that always hold true. Most cheap wins happen during the early afternoon. Most cheap bids won are either when 2 autobids are going at it and one just stops, OR single bids going at it and one stops, and there are no autobids going on at the time.
