Many people dream of being able to make decent money from posting their articles on the Internet. Many try and, sadly, many fail, but some do make a good living from it. Whilst it is difficult to achieve it really possible so I’m going to let you know how to do it.
First of all you need a plan, but luckily for you I’m going to provide that for you. Here is my Eight Point Plan for Success:
- Write an article on a popular subject, paying careful attention to spelling and grammar. Pick something that a lot of people are interested in but few know anything about. It is even better if experts in your chosen subject are not likely to read it as that way it is not so important that you make it accurate or waste time doing any research. My recommendation would be to write an article about making money on the Internet.
- The easiest form of article to write is a simple list. Break it down into a list of between 8 and 20 points or items, and then use either numbers or bullets to separate each. This both makes your article appear to be easier to read and also makes it look longer.
- Another way to use up some space is to reference other points. Point #4 explains how to do this.
- When referencing other points it will make your life much easier if each point is numbered. Obviously the final layout is entirely up to you but numbers do have advantages.
- I have often read on my journeys around the Internet that it is important not to waffle, but the real secret is just to appear not to waffle. In reality, at the end of the day as-it-were, you are free to waffle as much as you like so long as the reader is given the distinct impression, so-to-speak, that you are in actuality, when it comes down to it, not really waffling at all in any way, shape or form.
- Submit the article to an online publishing service like Triond. As soon as they publish your work, go on to step #7.
- Use Digg, StumbleUpon, Delicio.us, Twitter, Buzz and any other social bookmarking systems you can find to tell the world about your article. Be enthusiastic but don’t exaggerate too much. I’ve seen millions of writers exaggerate and upset their potential readers.
- That’s it. Simply follow points #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, #7 above and success will be yours.

Very nice tips! I think the same as Jane, promoting on other websites can be proved useless if we didn’t put a big effort to it. Thanks for sharing!

You do all realise that I wrote this article as a spoof?

“…Break it down into a list of between 8 and 20 points or items”
-20 might be a bit of an excessively long list. 6-15 points, any more than this you should consider condensing or created a second list. -J’ever think about “The 12 Step Program” if it were “The 20 Step Program”? Too complicated. Shorter is better.
Spoof or not, there is information here.

I’ve never heard of “The 12 Step Program”.
I just picked 20 as a random number as the article was not serious.
Thanks for the comment though.

Unfortunately, that’s exactly what people do. Many people write articles without research and unsuspecting surfers are caught in a web of bad information. Welcome to the internet.

It is what a lot of people do. BUT I wasn’t trying to give any information as this is a funny article written entirely for comedy value. For that reason the information is deliberately and obviously flawed.

It’s all fun. Good read and very interesting comments.
