How to Get 10,000 Page Views a Day on Picable

Money Making

Turn Your Picable earnings from a few pennies into $200.00 a month.

The first thing you need to do to maximize your Picable earnings is to post pictures. If you don’t have no images uploaded you can’t get no page views. Carry your digital camera with you at all times.

One underused tool is Wikipedia.

I was at a car show and their was a “Tow Mater” fan car from the Pixar movie “cars”. I uploaded it to Picable and once it was published I went to the Wikipedia entry for the movie “Cars”. At the end of the article for “Cars” I put a link under external links to my “Tow Mater” picture hosted on Picable.

I now average around 10 page views a day from that Wikipedia entry. Not a lot of traffic but it is steady and it adds up over time.

Once you do this with say 100 of your pics you will get large amounts of traffic from Wikipedia. Wikipedia is the 7th most trafficked website in the world according to Alexa.com so it only makes sense to utilize the traffic. Not all of my Wikipedia links drive traffic. Some are complete bombs with almost zero traffic.

Don’t spam or make worthless posts. If you are ethical in your use of Wikipedia with accurate titles and related content then the Wikipedians won’t erase your links.

Make use of web forums

We all should know to post links to our Picable images on the forums we use but take it a step further.

I went to the car races one night and one of the race cars was an El Camino. El Camino drag cars are common but this was a circle track racer so it is rare. I posted 4 pictures of the El Camino race car to Picable and then signed up at multiple El Camino related forums and posted links to the

pics. Now you have targeted traffic. These are people who own and are interested in El Caminos so they are more apt to click on the links to the El Camino pictures hosted on Picable.

Now I have developed a member status on a few El Camino related forums and they know I am not a fly by night spammer. Now whenever I see an El Camino car I will take a picture of it and share it with the El Camino forums.

On forums you can easily be flamed and or banned if you are an idiot. Don’t spam. Read the posting rules each forum has and follow them. When forum members reply to your post make sure you reply back. If they ask a question then answer their questions. If they say “Nic Pics” then you reply”Thank you” or something to the effect. By replying you will keep your post towards the top thus receiving more potential page views.

If you duplicate your post on similar forums you can and will receive massive amounts of traffic. One other benefit is your pics will be more apt to be indexed by Google into their search results much faster. The basic reasoning behind this is if you have links to your pics posted on a heavily trafficked forum then the Google bot is more apt to find it and index your Picable pictures into their search engine faster.

When post you links don’t post it as http://www.picable.com/Transportation/Cars/Old-Ford-Truck.145205

Instead post it as “OLD FORD FARM TRUCK”. That makes it better in the long run for google. If I have this picture posted all over as “Old Ford Farm Truck” then I will potentially get a lot more traffic from google in the long run if someone searches for

“Old Ford Farm Truck.”

When you post your pictures use a keyword rich title. Instead of labeling the pics title as “Horse” Label it as “Miniature Horse Pulling Chariot”. The title and description is very important to Google. The more descriptive the title the better.

If you have a pic that is titled “Niagra Falls” you will have a lot of competition in the search engines. If you have a pics titled “Nat Soo Pah” you will have a lot less competition to get your pic to the top of the google search. Obviously more people are searching for “Niagra Falls” then they are for “Nat Soo Pah” but if you have a few pics that are titled with “Nat Soo Pah” you have a lot better chance of getting pageviews from Google for searches for “Nat Soo Pah” because there is not near as much competition and the few searches that do happen will more than likely have you listed on the first page.

Even if you Picable link to the pic is not listed on the main page you have already posted the Nat Soo Pah pictures to 20-40 different forums so in theory at least one of the forums will have a chance at the main page. Once somebody searched for Nat Soo Pah and it takes them to a forum you posted your “Nat Soo Pah” pictures on then they will click the link and end up at your Picable image for Nat Soo Pah anyways!

If you have 100 pics that are each receiving 100 page views day then you are at 10,000 page views a day. Thats about $200 a month.

Start with one pic or a 3-4 related pics and post them to 20-30 forums that are related to the topic. Each day answer any replies that have came into the forums and then either post more related pics or start finding new forums that are related to the next picture you want to promote.

  • Your daily tasks
  • Everday carry your digital camera with you and take pictures
  • Upload your new pictures to Picable
  • Give Each Picture A descriptive title and description of the picture.

Everyday Post to applicable forums your links to your Picable pictures. Keep an eye out for related content. If you have previously posted pictures of A Ford Explorer and they got a lot of traffic from all of the forums you posted them too then if you see another Ford Explorer that is unique then take a picture of it and post it to all of the forums where you have previously posted your other Ford Explorer pics.

  • Post links to your pic(s) on Wikipedia when applicable
  • Use Keyword Rich Descriptions
  • Have Fun!

If you concentrate on posting to the forums you WILL get a lot of Picable page views. It takes a lot of work and organization to post to many forums but once you get your technique down the results will encourage you to do it more.

If you can spend 1 hour a day posting links to forums and conversating with the other forum members you will see your page views increase to a level you never thought possible.

First time I read one of your articles and it really caught my attention. I never thought that Picable could be profitable until now. Thanks!

Agreed.. but I never thought about this on the picable photos. Don’t know how much effort this may require as you say.

But we can apply this in the same way for articles. They receive more money for the same number of views, so even lesser number of views are enough to achieve the same result.

I already applied this technique to get visitors to my blog. It was an amazing experience. To learn more about getting traffic to a website follow my blog:
