How to Earn Money with Photoshop

Money Making

If you’re good at Photoshop or know how to use it, you might be able to earn money.

I’m going to tell you how to use Photoshop for earning money without getting a job. You don’t have to work for anyone. You just work for yourself and have fun using Photoshop.

How To

I love to use Photoshop to make all kinds of art & pictures. You can do everything on Photoshop. If you don’t have it I recommend you to buy it. You can also download it for free in 60 or 30 days. Another, however illegal way, is to find some kind of way to get the program without paying. I do not recommend this because it’s against the law. But you decide for yourself.

I recently found the site “Pxleyes.com“. This site is great way to get Photoshop challenge and earn a bit of money.

Every week on Thursday the website will start about 10 new contests where you have to win.
One contest may say: “Photoshop this image” and then you are free to do anything you want with it. You can also go to contests with say something like: “Make a face out of fruit”.

This way you get some different challenges and you are also able to win money. 1st place $5, 2nd place is $3 and 3rd place is $2. This is not much but if you’re good and are able to win these contests you may get a little cash.

Pxleyes is a huge community and there’s a whole freaking lot of people there. 30 seconds after I submitted my entry, there was already 16 views and 1 comment. That’s just great course then you will get criticism and people will tell you what you can do better. They will also vote on your picture. 1 is lowest and 100 is highest. Of course.

My point is that if you’re good at Photoshop and enjoy making these pictures plus getting challenges, making friends and getting money: Then this might be something for you. The best of all is that this is completely free and that there is no limits for how much you can earn. You are actually also able to upload up to 3 pictures to every contest.

    Nice.

Anyone wanting to make money from pictures or even Photoshopped images etc., should check over dreamstime.com

You upload your images which they ‘thumbnail’ and use a watermark overtop of, and anyone that wants to use the image pays a fee of say, 99-cents. You get a portion (half? -I don’t know how much) And, if the image is REALLY good, someone may wish to acquire it and its copyright, so the site ’sells’ the image/copyright to them and you get bigger $. I have seen images of say, close-up pix of old coins have dozens or hundreds of ‘99-cents’ sales and other images ‘buy it’ for over $100.00+

When I was doing my Internet Publishing courses I needed a extreme close-up image of a Buffalo nickel for a project, and saw one such image that was being offered for $300.00. -Out of my price range then & now, but if I were doing an advertizing campaign and needed a Copyright-released image that was totally MINE and could not be challenged for ownership, I’d have gone this route instead of a ‘CC’ image such as Flickr.

Virgin got onto some trouble a year or so ago for having ‘acquired’ some CC images from Flickr.com and used on either their airlines or mobile-phone poster campaign. While probably legally defensible (the images WERE offered for use and permitted to edit, etc.) I do not think the owner meant that a multi-million dollar corporation could just ‘take for free’ his images. The image-owner should have been placing his work on dreamstime.com… SELL the images.
