Money Making

Many people thought that creating a website is a hard thing to do and only possible for those who are skilled in web design. However, in this article, I will show you an easy way to create your own website within few minutes.

Wherever you’re promoting your Triond articles, a name of your own website would be far more interesting than if you’re promoting your Triond username. This will be very useful when you’re participating in a forum or community where promoting your articles would be considered as spam. You could make a catchy forum signature where you will promote your desired website name without worrying to be marked as a spammer.

Here are few simple steps to achieve it :

1. Visit www.co.cc and sign up to the website for free.

2. After signing up, your chosen name of the website will be registered. Now you’ll need to set it up before 48 hours.

3. Click Set Up and you’ll be directed to a page like this :

4. Ignore the Name Server and Zone Records setup as it’s only for advanced web users. The third one, URL Forwarding is where you place the URL of your Triond username. This is very easy since all you need is to copy your username URL that’s visible on the Address Bar when you open your profile (e.g : www.triond.com/users/Avaxier).

5. Click set up and you’re done! From now on, people will be directed to your Triond profile page whenever they visit your website. That way they will be interested to read your articles and maybe leave comments on them. My website name is AuroraKnight.co.cc and I’ve gotten extra views from forum users who read my profile and probably like my website name.

That’s all the guide but if you really want to make your own designed website, you can try uCoz and make it easily. However, that way you’ll need to promote your article one by one into the website which can takes hours to be done. But if you’re really want it, go ahead, I’m sure the hard work will worth the extra views you get.

Thank you for reading this article! I hope it’s useful! If you like it, visit AuroraKnight.co.cc for more interesting articles.

Yes, it is. I make my forum signature in a Runescape Forum contains the link to AuroraKnight.co.cc and I got pretty good extra views from there.

This way I wouldn’t be marked as a spammer or an advertiser.

Good idea and well explained. This works well if you can get lots of visitors to your site. I get lots of traffic on my articles via my blogs. It works well but you need patience!

@Louie : Yes, blogs is a nice idea to increase traffic too. But usually, the blog name always have something in the back (e.g avaxier.blogger.com), and sometimes people would be more interested with a website name without a back name (e.g avaxier.co.cc).

As a web page builder myself, I have tried this approach a time or two but it never seemed to send notable traffic. At least, nothing that ever sows up on my ‘top 10 referrers’ chart. But if it works for ya, -rock on! :-)

I have my own website but it is always interesting to know of more websites that you could possibly use to promote the content on Triond and the content itself on the website. Useful article for anyone looking to have their own website and promoting their work on Triond.
