Is Google Adsense coming to Triond?
Triond recently announced that it will be slowly implementing Adsense into the site. While this may be a great asset to some, it raises the concern that Triond may eventually ONLY pay through Adsense, which would take away the reason a lot of people use Triond instead of other sites like Hubpages or Xomba. The fact that Triond pays through its own system, allowing anyone with a Pay-Pal account or a mailing address, and the payment threshold is actually very low compared to other sites, and Adsense’s lowest payout is actually double Triond’s highest.
I prefer the old Triond payout system, as it allows everyone to participate. Some people, most notably Guy Hogan (as read from one of his articles) have been banned from Adsense, which would actually hurt Triond more than help it.
In my opinion, Triond would benefit most if Adsense was made a optional program on the site, allowing people who really want to transfer their earnings to their Adsense accounts, but Adsense is a PPC ad program, so reads would not necessarily mean more earnings.
If Adsense integration works for Triond, great, but I do not think that it would benefit the majority of users on the site now. We shall see how it works in the future.
