Craigslist is a great place to pick up some extra cash. Just like everything else, craigslist has its good and bad sides. With this article I would like to point out some of the advantages of using craigslist.
- Millions visit the site everyday. There are literally millions and millions of people who are on craigslist at any given moment. These are all potential customers. Your audience is already there you just have to place a well written ad to get their attention.
- Its Free. Unlike ebay, craigslist has no insertion fees, no closing fees, no fees at all. It doesn’t get any better then that now does it? You can place as any many ads as you want and all for free. So even if your ad doesn’t perform the way you want it to you didn’t loose anything other then a few minutes of your time.
- Not time consuming. It takes very little time and effor to set up your ads once you get the hang of everything. Just be sure to read the Terms of Service so you know what is and isn’t acceptable on the site. You don’t want to put up a bunch of ads only to have them taken down because they don’t adhere to the TOS.
- Its Safe. Your personal information is never revealed. If someone wants to purchase your product or service they simply email you on your craigslist.org email address. Then craigslist will forward the message to the email address of your choice. The potential buyer never sees your real email address.
Above are only 4 advantages of using craigslist. As you can imagine there are many many more. Thousands of people rake in thousands and thousands of dollars every single day all via craigslist.
