Over the course of becoming a stay at home mom I have done a rather extensive search trying to find ways to make money from home through the use of the internet. During that time I have found numerous ways on how not to go about doing it.
I am always looking for ways to help increase the finances coming into my house while still being able to spend some time with my child. Over the past couple of years I have tried an extensive number of internet “jobs” to try to make some cash. Unfortunately, I have not been very successful. I have composed a list of ways that have not been successful to help other steer clear of these internet jobs that bring little success and waste a whole lot of time. Time that can be spent making money on the internet doing rewarding jobs like writing articles for Triond.

Answering Surveys
No real money comes out of answering surveys from any internet based survey company. I had signed up for one of the services where you answer surveys and earn points that turn into cash. In total I have earned 20 dollars and probably invested about more than 20 hours answering surveys. That equals less than a dollar per hour.

Any Job that Asks you to Put Money Down First
This is a total scam do not believe the hype or the stories that claim a person puts down 30 dollars and over the course of a month makes 3000 dollars. It’s a scam and whoever that money goes to is pretty wealthy.

Answering Questions for an Online Company
This also is not a good line to make some cash you may earn a couple of bucks a week if you are one of the lucky few but not as much as you should be making for the time you invest into it.

Selling Products Online
This works for people who are very friendly and are surrounded by people who will buy their product. I am currently trying to sell makeup products at a website called Mineral Girlz. I have been signed up with them for about a month now and have had no such luck selling this product.

Being an Online Tutor
This job is really good for people who are virtual experts in a certain subject matter. I however did not have such luck. If however I knew about this type of work while I was still in school I might be making some decent cash. The place I signed up with is called Tutor.com. If there are any up and coming students looking for some spending money this is the job for you.
