Who said “there’s no money at home”? Are you even sure that your 15 year old child who is always in front of the computer doesn’t earn extra money? Now-a-days, you don’t have to be in the office and wear uncomfortable business suits to earn money, because your home could be your very own office and your pajamas could be your office wear. All you need is a computer, a high speed internet and your hidden skills and you’re all set to work online. Here’s five of the most in demand home-based jobs. Hope one of them suits your skills:

1. Data Entry Jobs/ Website Data Extraction Jobs

The simplest and easiest of the home-based jobs. Everyone can do this job because all you have to do is to type or copy-paste hundreds or thousands of data into an excel spreadsheet, data sheets, websites and information sheets. Freelance data entry workers are most often paid with the rate of 0.05c-$1 per excel line or $1-$3 per 1000 enties.

2. Virtual Assistants

The work of a virtual assistant is somehow the same as a secretary’s, but more work load. A virtual assistant’s work ranges from typing, making reports, research, answering incoming calls, making outbound calls, etc. The good thing is being a virtual assistant is mostly a long term work so, stable income is guaranteed. Salary ranges from $400-$1000 depending on the work load.

3. Telemarketers

A telemarketer’s main job is to call and sell. They sell the products that their employers asks them to sell and most of the time, they have quotas to meet each month. Additional tasks or duties of a telemarketer are appointments setting, in which they call prospective buyers and sets an appointment for them to see a product demonstration or briefing, product intoduction/qualifying the leads, where the telemarketer calls people to asses if they are interested in the product and leads generation where the telemarketer will find new leads for the employer. To become a telemarketer, you must have good communication skills, confidence in yoursefl that can be reflected through your voice and guts (for the nasty people who will curse you for doing your job!) Their salaries could be fixed monthly, monthly+ commissions or just commission based. The fixed monthly salary ranges from $250-600 a month deoending on the employer

4. Web Designers

What would our websites be like without the web designers? A web designer’s job is to make sure the webpage they developed is unique and interesting. They see to it that every link is in the right place and every pop outs are in the right timings. Their salaries ranges from $200-$500 per project or depending on their contract with the employer.

5.Writers

The most in demand home-based work. If you have a talent or passion for writing, then you could earn big using the internet. A lot of website owners are looking for content writers for their websites wherein the website owners pays for each articles or essays they write. Each original articles are priced from $1-$5 while rewrites are priced from 0.50c-$2.
