Whatever they say, writing article/poem online and earn money is not that easy! Not only you need to be very proactive with your writing, but also you have to nurture & publish them in a proper way, more through proper channels.
I’m trying to help all my Triond friends here to earn some more money online. After researching for last few months and going through several paying websites, I’ve sorted out few names that are quite good for publishing your work and earn some money. I’m listing the names of those sites with little elaboration, hoping this will help all of you.
1. Associated Content: I know many of you know this name, specially those who are experienced in prolific writing. Associated Content allows you to write any type of content. You can get $1.50 per thousand page views. This is also a site that gives you upfront payment.
2. Helium: Helium works for you pretty well if you want to get links to your website by writing articles. They have a grade system and also give up front payment. Only restriction is this is only for US residents.
3. Demand Studios: This is a very good site for publishing your articles. But for that your article needs to be approved by them. It pays between $10 to $15 per article. This is a very professional site and only accepts quality articles. If you are a really serious writer you can take a chance.
4. Sqidoo: This is a site where you can publish your article in a much easier way. You can get money through Pay Pal and the minimum amount for is $1.
5. HubPages: Here you share your advice and reviews. You can earn here through Ad Revenue from Google, Ebay, Amazon etc.
6. Xomba: In Xomba, you earn through Google Ad sense.
7. Bukisa: Here is place where you can share your knowledge and make money by others using your knowledge. You can earn $4 for every unique 1000 visitors.
8. Boddunan: This site is only for Indian writers. You can make money by writing articles, posting web links and by referring others. They pay Rs. 100 per article and minimum payout is Rs. 1000.
9. Digital Journal: Digital Journal offers you the chance to get paid to report news as a digital journalist. The minimum pay out is $10.
10. eHow: You can write and make money by eHow’s writers program. This is a very famous site. Minimum pay out is $10. But this program is available for US residents only.
Besides these sites you can also try out Smorty and myLot.

Heard of all the sites and I’m a member in some of them. Somehow, I’m intent on concentrating on Triond only for the moment. Nevertheless, it is a good choice and will be of benefit to those interested in writing to more sites.
