Paid to click, or commonly referred to as PTC means that you click on a link and wait for a certain amount of time to earn money. For example a site could have ten links up a day and they pay $0.01 per click, and the click lasts for thirty seconds. Now that is $0.10 per day. But let us also assume that they have a referral system. So you refer ten friends, ten friends times $0.10 per day plus $0.10 is $1.10 per day! Most PTC sites are set up like this, but many more also have a minimum pay out. The minimum pay out is the balance that you must reach in order to cash out. You can cash out on pay pal or alert pay mostly but some sites may offer slightly different methods.

Paid to read, or just PTR is where you sign up on a site, using your email, and they send you emails that you click in order to receive credit for your email. Depending on the site, they may send you one or more emails per day ranging from $0.01 to $0.10 per email. Most have a cash out limit, this could be $10.00, $30.00, or $40.00, it all depends on the site.

Lastly, online surveys. Basically what you do is answer questions and state your opinions and get paid for it. though the best are the ones that pay directly to your paypal account.

Out of all these I would have to say that taking surveys that pay to paypal is the best.
