There are different ways to earn money online. One of the ways is by filling out surveys. You can check out my article for a list of paid surveys.

There are a number of ways to make money online. You can write articles, write blogs, fill out surveys, etc. In this article, I’m going to tell you about survey sites that actually pay money. They are also free to join so there is no risk involved in signing up with the sites that I will list here. There are some sites that will require you to buy things, but there are also survey sites that are free to join. You just have to know where to find them. I am a member of a few survey sites that I want to share with you all.
Survey Spot
Survey Spot is a survey site that is free to join. You can cash out when you have $5 in your account. I like how the payout is low so you can get it faster. Most of the surveys are for $1 -$5 or as much as $20 (focus groups) so your chances of making money are great. You wouldn’t have to wait as long to cash out. They offer a lot of surveys for money. They send surveys to you every day. You do need to qualify for them to participate in the survey. Luckily your chances are better of qualifying since they send surveys every day. You also have opportunities to test products before they get in the stores. I have had money with this survey site. At one point, I made at least $100 by letting it build up. The checks also don’t take as long to come. When you cash out, it will take about a few weeks to come. It might be sooner than that. I’m not sure paypal is an option since I get checks from this site.
Opinion Outpost
Opinion Outpost is a free survey site. You are rewarded with points that add up. You can trade you points for cash or prizes. The payout is $15 or 150 points. If you don’t want to wait for the cash, you can opt to get a gift card when you reach 10 points (every 10 points equals a $1). The surveys are usually for 10 or more points. Like Survey Spot, you get the surveys a lot. If it’s not every day, it’s usually every other day. You can also go to your account and check for surveys. I log into my account and usually find surveys available. The customer service department is great. They are always courteous and can help you over the phone if you ever have problems. I had great experiences talking with customer service.
Global Test Market
Global Test Market is a free survey site. Like Opinion Outpost, you are rewarded with points. The points range from 5-100 per survey. The cash out is $50 when you reach 1,000 points. It may sound like a lot, but the points do add up. If you qualify, it should take about 10 surveys to add up to 1,000. The plus to this survey site is the fact that you get points even if you don’t qualify for a survey. That will help the points add up too. You can log into your account to find available surveys to fill out.
My Survey
My Survey is a free survey site. Like Opinion Outpost and Global Test Market, you are rewarded points for your survey. You can cash out when you reach 1,000 points. With this survey site, the 1,000 points equal $10. You can also get gifts cards and prizes when you reach a certain amount of points. You can also test products before they hit the stores. My Survey awards you 10 points even if you don’t qualify for the survey. For me, it is not too hard to qualify for the surveys. What’s even better is there’s a chance to make more points if you qualify for the survey. Once you fill out a few pages, there are times when you are offered the chance to make more points by filling out a longer survey. This helps push you closer to 1,000 points. I have been paid quite a few times with this site and it is one of my favorite survey sites.
Synovate
Synovate is a free survey site. As with some of the others, you get rewarded points per survey. The cash out is $5 dollars for 10,000 points. You are rewarded a lot of points per survey. It can be as low as 750 points and up. If you don’t qualify for the survey, you are given 50 points. You can log into your account to find available surveys for you to fill out.
What to look out for:
- Survey sites that require you to pay in order to join
- Survey sites that make you sign up for offers in order to get paid
- Survey sites that require you to refer people in order to get paid
Filling out surveys is one of the easiest ways to make money online. I recommend that you sign up for more than one survey site. The more you sign up for, the better your chances of getting money. If you have the time to spare, you can fill out surveys and earn some extra money. If you don’t have that much time to spare, you can fill out the surveys that are for money or the ones that offer the most points. I have been signed up for these surveys for a while and have gotten paid for it. Surveys aren’t for everyone, but if you have time to spare, you can always give it a shot. It couldn’t hurt to have an extra way to earn money.

Thanks for this useful list to make money. I’m currently doing survey for global test market, and I receive their surveys constantly. Not likely 10 surveys will add you to 1000 points, it depends on the nature of the surveys and the points they may give you after the completion. Thanks and have my liked it.

Very informative and helpful article. I’ve thought about using the survey sites, but I heard that some of them use spyware and that has me afraid to try them out.

Louie – I’m not sure if they are all US. There are some that are for other countries too.
Chan – With Global Test Market, it does depend on what the points are for the surveys. The ones I get are usually for up to 100 points which was why I said that it might take 10 surveys to get the points.
Darla – I have never had a problem with spyware with these survey sites. I’m not sure about some others though.

I recieve these invitations all the time but I find they really don’t pay very well. I have gotten a water bottle, a few little things like that and I once received three bras to wear and do a survey about them. That’s about it. I hope all of you have better luck than I have. I did them for a couple of years and my email is loaded with them everyday.
