Advertising sponsors such as Google that pay out on a pay-per-click or pay-per-view basis will not pay more than 50 cents per instance. However some affiliate programs will pay $500 or more per referral. Supercharge your earnings by trying out CPA ads.
How many people actually click on Google Ads that appear on blogs? Do these ads actually interest people, or are they just paying out on a per view or impression basis? Advertising sponsors such as Google that pay out on per click or per view basis will not pay more than 50c per instance. However some affiliate programs will pay $500 or more per referral. You might think users are more likely to click on an ad than they are to purchase something, however this is not always true.
At the moment you might have a blog with several animated ads remotely related to your site, however if you had text ads instead you would be explaining why a product or service is worthwhile to your visitors. A random animation ad will likely go unnoticed, but if you have in your blog entry ‘I found their service really effective, etc., check out the link’ and add an affiliate tracking link, visitors will be more inclined to click on it. Since you are promoting a service that users are reading your blog to find out about (at least partially) they will be more inclined to consider purchasing the service. For example, consider your blog is about web hosting, you could add links in blog posts reviewing particular companies. Some companies pay as much as $50 per web hosting referral, and if visitors are coming to your site to find hosting advice the likelihood that they will click on the text links is high.
The simplest method to create text links is writing as you normally do and then just adding the link onto the sentence text. Users will read the flow of your blog normally and will click the link out of interest to what you have written about. In conjunction with the text, the affiliate link will be much more appealing. Try to limit the link text to three words per 50 words, since too many links will typically put people off reading the article at all. Text links do not clutter up the screen with ads and animations; they take up practically no extra space on the page and potentially pay out significantly higher than randomized ads from a service such as Google. Using text ads also allows you to choose which affiliates you would like to mention in your blog, and gives you the opportunity to make cash faster and more directly than many other advertising methods.
