So you’re another budding writer with freelance ambitions, driven mainly by the thought of earning big bucks from using your talent – am I right? Then read on.
You’ve googled ‘get paid for writing articles’ and low and behold the name ‘Triond’ springs out at you. ‘Sign up here and earn to write’. This is too good to be true you think, I’ll have a bit of that you say…….is too good to be true?……well yes, let’s be honest of course it is. I too am in the same boat as yourself, (I believe we’re bobbing around somewhere in the middle of the pacific lead by blind hope of America being just over that horizon!!)
If you think a few articles here and there are going to start the cash flowing then you’re primary conceptions of Triond are similar to what mine were and are about as many miles from being true as we are to America in that boat.
Triond does offer you rewards, and yes they are financial ones like they advertise but they are minimal at best unless you can get an impossible amount of hits and comments everyday. For the majority of us on here we’re not going to be quitting the day job anytime soon I’m afraid but don’t lose heart because this site can aid you’re ambitions and get you them regular writing pay checks with perseverance. Triond’s main benefit to us is that of opportunity and this can lay foundations for those financial rewards in the future as your writing experience grows.
The site gives you windows of opportunity in abundance and backs up these windows with a community of writers, readily active to slate or praise you with comments. The feedback or lack of it, adds priceless experience in your long winding road to becoming a freelance writer. You begin to understand hot topics, tags and word counts. The site will help you build a portfolio and with the more experience you gain with numerous articles submitted the better and more aware a writer you become.
The quick and easy route to earning through writing is not at Triond but why not use the site as your schooling? Use Triond to gain experience and develop your skills and work. Use it to become part of a writing community. When the time comes to apply for freelance writing posts elsewhere you’ll be able to attach a proud piece you wrote for Triond, it may have made you $0.15 originally but it could provide a foot in the door somewhere else where rewards can be reaped.
I’m sure we’ll make it over the horizon and all find what we’re all looking for…….primarily money!

nice article. I’ve used triond for several months and haven’t even reach the minimal limit for payout. I’m glad you reassured me that triond can assist me in my future freelance jobs.

I joined Triond in late March 2008. I wanted to accomplish three things. I wanted to write. I wanted to belong to a community of writers and I wanted to make some money.
I now have over 110 pieces of content on Triond. I belong to a community of writers and I make some money every day. The money is not much. The last four days I made, 10 cents, 12 cents, 15 cents and 16 cents. I have a good shot at breaking $3.00 for the first time for the month of July.
No, $3.00 is not much money for a month’s work but as long as that amount keeps going up every month, and it has, I’ll be happy. I get Social Security so what I earn on Triond supplements my income. $100 a month from Triond is my goal. I have a lot of work ahead of me.
